Pay attention to US borders, not international borders​

I don't think that we should give amnesty and they become voters. But I do think we should deal with our borders. One way that I would suggest that we could do it is pay less attention to the borders between Afghanistan and Iraq and Pakistan and bring our troops home and deal with the border. But why do we pay more attention to the borders overseas and less attention to the borders here at home? We now have a mess on the borders, and it has a lot more to do with it than just immigration, because we're financing some of this militarism against the drug dealers on the borders right now to the tune of over $1 billion. And there is a mess down there, but it's much bigger than just the immigration problem.​

"Astrid Senior, the mother of Fabian Schmidt, a U.S. Green Card holder, said her son was stripped naked, "violently interrogated" and sent to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facility upon his return to the country last Friday.

"When an individual is found with drug related charges and tries to reenter the country, officers will take proper action."

Although Schmidt has no ongoing legal issues, according to his family, he previously had a misdemeanor charge for having marijuana in his vehicle.

That charge was dismissed after laws about cannabis changed.

His mother said he missed a hearing about the case in 2022 because the notice was not forwarded to his correct address.

He also had a DUI about a decade ago.

Schmidt, a New Hampshire resident who has had held a green card since 2008 after moving to the U.S. in 2007, was reportedly detained at the Logan Airport in Massachusetts upon returning from Luxembourg last week, according to Boston public radio station WGBH.

His family told the public radio station that he had recently renewed his green card and it was flagged as he reentered the country.

Donald Trump has decided to go 'nuclear' on the migrant crisis by allowing the military to take control of a 'buffer zone' near the Southern border with Mexico.

Trump's ambitious plan would turn the 60-foot deep buffer zone into a military installation at the border and allow US troops to temporarily hold migrants who cross over into the America.

A defense official told The Washington Post that the migrants would be held until legally detained by civilian law enforcement.

The president has made fixing the migrant issue the top of his second term agenda and has seen success early on with illegal crossings plummeting from the record highs under predecessor Joe Biden.

Now, Trump's homeland security team is reportedly set to announce plans to take greater control over the partition in a section in New Mexico.

If the initial plan is termed a success by the administration, officials believe the zone would eventually stretch west to California.

The designation would allow the Pentagon to deploy resources from its massive $800billion budget on the border crackdown.

U.S. President Donald Trump's administration will revoke the temporary legal status of 530,000 Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans in the United States, according to a Federal Register notice on Friday, the latest expansion of his crackdown on immigration.

The move, effective April 24, cuts short a two-year "parole" granted to the migrants under former President Joe Biden that allowed them to enter the country by air if they had U.S. sponsors.

Will that money be directly returned to the tax payers like me in the form of a money order or check? Or will that money be used to fund and grow the fed?

Who gets the property if said immigrant paid for the property and paid taxes on it while they were in possession?

It will be used to reduce the deficit and pay down the debt.

it's not entirely clear but Homeland on March 31st said "north of" 100,000 have already been deported.
ICE said it was 28,319 deported between Inauguration Day and March 11, so apparently
the depo's have risen dramatically just in the last month. Probably sourced mostly from the arrested-but-not yet-deported
stock on hand.
