Yes, that picture was mostly a joke. I've got better and more serious ones here:

Guys,
This whole looking-for-Ron-Paul-dates thing is amusing.
There are some wonderful Ron Paul ladies out there. Most are taken, as you would expect, since, in my experience, conservativism combined with true patriotism and political passion are in short supply among young, single, educated women. But mostly those qualities are not what we love women for, anyway! Do not fear. Most cannot be bothered to vote and those that will are likely to vote for Hillary or Obama.
Your role as a handsome, single Ron Paul supporter is not to hunt where there is little game but to go out into the big wide world and learn to attract women to the cause.
When you establish a connection and they are open to you, you can bring them around on politics as long as they are not already full of too many awful ideas. Be confident and stay positive. Listen and understand first before pushing ideas on them. Ask for her opinion and try to find agreement. If you find an attractive woman is listening to you about politics for any length of time, the chances are good you are going to get laid too. Take it as a positive sign and get a date with her right then and there so you can continue chatting. The things you will learn in the process will be priceless and might even help the campaign. Have other things to talk about too.
You will not win them with overly intellectual arguments, fearmongering or a negative attitude. Impress them with how much you care for your country, for future generations (which you might like to have a hand in creating...), etc..
In the get-to-know-you phase of initial conversation, drop that you are working as volunteer on a political campaign without saying which one. To any girl worth talking to, that will wake her up and make her ask you about it. If it slides by unnoticed, politely disengage. She either doesn't like you already or is dense. If she asks for more, chances are she knows nothing about Ron so you have a pretty clean slate to paint a picture on.
Tell her you are impressed by Dr. Ron Paul's character, his truthfulness and his courage. (Good qualities she might seek in a man.)
Assuming you have traction, you absolutely must mention early on that Dr. Paul is an OB/GYN who has delivered over 4000 babies. This way you are moving into a good warm-and-fuzzy area and innoculating against the OMG-he's-prolife? protest which may eventually come. If you're feeling cocky, you can take the conversation in a sexual direction by joking that he takes care of the fun parts.
She will not agree with everything completely right away but you will have made an excellent start.
Get out there. Get creative! Approach women. Invite them to a Ron Paul rally. You will be rewarded.
Political involvement is a leadership quality and a way for you to be responsibly masculine. It should make you more attractive if you play it right.

well, I have a killer photo as well. Yeah that's me, the same guy, only about 6 years ago...

Your skin seems to have a slight brownish tint. Best not to show that picture around, or you'll probably find yourself in Gitmo!
yo, your quest for attention has been achieved. Anything else from this point, or are you seriously going to hold out? Don't bother replying, I don't really care!
I like long walks at a Ron Paul rally and romantic candlelight fundraiser dinners....
hilarious
You guys are just lucky I don't bust out my "social networking impress chicks with the kitty cat" pictures I got with me and my little fuzzball. They oogles over it every time and I would dominate the Ron Paul dating market.
Yeah... it's that adorable.
Wait, are you male? Real men don't use the word "adorable" ! Well not without putting it in quotes...
wow jmujr, you're really annoying. Do you seriously need to keep bumping this thread and keep carrying on this charade? What is the point?
You wanna know what real men do? Accept reality. Stop trying to pump yourself up, especially here and especially like this.
This is Ron Paul grassroots, not 'omg jmujr lol@ dates hello he's rich omg!'
find yourself a dating website.

So did you ever find a date?
