I ignored this thread long ago. Someone posted yesterday, I got an alert, and I replied. If I really needed a date I'd never have posted this. I have no trouble finding dates, especially really attractive ones. That isn't the issue. The issue is Ron Paul.
Some of you folks apparently got offended by it. Not my problem. Like I mentioned before it was all in good fun and nothing but that. Heck, I had several women contact me privately and they were very, very attractive. Nothing came of it, but we're friends.
In any case, I have a girlfriend now, and she's a big Ron Paul supporter, and discovered him through me. It is quite fun discussing RP to friends, acquaintances, and strangers with her. In fact a lot of fun. Of course she's intelligent and keeps me on my toes.. And she's gorgeous...
Not sure why some get so out of sorts about these things. Do you also get out of sorts over kissing booths (if you don't know what those are they were popular up until the 60s/70s)...? They were used to raise money, sometimes for charity.. Nothing wrong with that...
Like I wrote I already donated the max, and had donated quite a bit even before I made this post (and like I also wrote I intended to donate the max regardless), and it was probably more money than I realistically should have given. I have never donated to a politician before, so like many of you this shows how important this movement is.
I will say this, having a girlfriend who has the same socio-political values as you is a really nice feeling, especially when they all revolve around the fundamental concept called liberty...

Really though the thread is so old it wasn't a big deal when it was posted. Maybe now though..
