Why we Have a Real Shot at the Nomination

They even show a video of Paul speaking when they're talking about winning the nomination, it's a split screen w/ him, Giuliani, and McCain. :)

But the trouble is that the 1% they are talking about is only in 3-4 states. The primaries are VERY well attended in NH, for instance. In 2000 (as they said), 400k people voted out of a population of 1.2 million. That's a huge percentage of voters.
We can do well, but don't think that we can easily outnumber everyone else. You have to think state-by-state.

So basically if we can get about 30,000- 50,000 people to ROn Paul in Iowa... we win... any more it's a landslide

i love how cheeky the reporter is

having 1% of the population make such an important decision is a disgrace

this should have been a hard hitting report and not a "oh, by the way"

yeah, lol, Although 1% f the population cause much less than half of the population votes in the general elections and even less in the primaries,

It's like only 20% or less of registered voters voe in the primaries typically, so to be generous lets say all registered republicans made up 30% of the population and only 20% of that turned out in primaries that's about 6% of nations populations throughout the entire primaries.

In 2004 only 6.6% of REGISTEREd VOTERS showed up so it was even less then.

So makesure to be there and vote.

Unless he's threatened like Perot was in '92, or there is some kind of "Dean Scream" moment, the nomination is a dead lock.

I hope your deity of choice is listening, hopefully all of them, or for the atheist, I hope the Spaghetti Monster is listening...

I can never imagine Ron Paul making a fool of himself like Dean, and I think the Secret Service would get a call from Ron should a threat arise.

I am pretty confident everyone supporting Ron Paul now will come out and vote, because the media has agitated these people. Ross Perot's problem was only 19% of his base came out to vote. Howard Dean was a Democrat, and he embarrassed himself.

Ron Paul can win the Presidency.

well dean didn't have an army on the ground.
RP does.

Ross perot didn't have an army on the ground.
RP does.

RP has smoked dean in support, and RP's money is comming from REAL PEOPLE....not his own billions.

No matter how you slice it, RP is the greatest underdog I will have ever put my hope behind.....UNDERDOGS CAN WIN!

also, isn't the number they quote (the entire democratic caucus) less than how many people have donated to RP?
