Just wanted to thank you those of you that brought this unfair banning to the forefront. It's vital that we continually question those in positions of authority, even within our own ranks, especially when they choose to abuse that authority.

Mine was probably the weakest ban in the history of the forums. Sailing's spinmeistery of my comment about Ron and Rand speaking to different segments of society into an insult against Ron is pure Kafka. I have always contended that Ron spoke to audiences in the upper echelon of the Bell Curve, that 16.1% of the population; Rand on the other hand speaks to that vast 68% that decide elections.

Hint: elections don't really change anything. ;)

Permit me to issue and control the money of the nation and I care not who makes its laws. — Mayer Amsched Rothchild

well that part of that quote there that begins with, "permit me" (the important part) is in fact determined by elected officials, who did permit such control of money in 1913, but who are today legally and socially capable of legimitely not permitting it.

pure Kafka.

For those reading along but bewildered as to who or what Kafka was:

In Kafka's work a character will be punished although a crime has not been committed.
[]
In his work, Kafka often created malevolent, absurd worlds.
[]
The hopelessness and absurdity common to his works are seen as emblematic of existentialism
[]
Kafka also touches on the theme of human conflict with bureaucracy.

nice usage Bastiat... never heard his name placed that way. +rep
