Why was Bastiat's The Law banned?

Bastiat did not deserved to be banned. What I saw him doing was defending Rand against a known Rand-hater in Rand's own subforum. So, instead of culling out the posts of the Rand-hater, that had no business being there, a Mod chose to ban Bastiat. It is completely twisted.

There appears to be an effort afoot by a couple here to imply that we cannot support BOTH Ron and Rand. That those of us who support Rand, are somehow less supportive of Ron. It is ridiculous and it needs to stop. This is a wedge that does not need to be driven.

You know who you are. STOP IT.

Are you for real, guy? Perhaps I used the wrong words, but all I meant by that post was.... why was an individual who was loved by much of the community banned? I don't even know who he is so I wouldn't have had any reason to support his banning in the first place not to mention making a so called "snarky" comment in regards to the situation. Think before you talk, sir. And my name is a joke that made a thread go semi-viral awhile back pretending as if I was supporting Mitt Romney, when I wasn't.

Anyway, I have no idea why this member was banned.

I did ban Bastiat, for the reason Nikki noted. In RON'S forum and after many many occasions and other posts of which you are not aware.

People are absolutely free to support Ron and Rand. But people who have long supported Ron are also able to support Ron without supporting Rand. And the final straw, by no means the biggest problem post, occurred in Ron's forum, not Rand's.

Easy fella's, my comment about the name was in jest. I know you're not here in support of Dick Chaney. I've read your posts. But your question did come off sounding perhaps not as you meant it.

Attacking people to drive them off or provoke them to behavior that might get them banned, because they don't see Rand as you want them to is not ok. People have different opinions and as long as they are respectful of other members, that is fine. There is deference given 'Defenders of Liberty' in their own forums, and people need to be respectful of Rand in his. Equally, they need to be respectful of Ron in his.

Got an example post from today as to why you banned him? I read his posts to see why he was banned and I saw nothing. And yet I read Cajun's latests posts sucking all the positive energy out like usual. You banned a positive supporter of Ron and Rand and let the positive energy vampire roam free.

And btw.....someone told Cajun I reported her. Was that you also?

No, I will not cut it out, SailingAway. The reason you gave is ridiculous. You are biased and one of the ones who are pushing the meme around here that one cannot be both a Ron Paul AND Rand Paul supporter and it is driving a wedge that does not need to exist. You allow people to go into Rand's subforum who hate him and post their garbage without doing a thing and you ban those who stand up against it. Why? Because you agree with what they are saying, so you allow it.

You have lost your objectivity and that is something Moderators must have.
