I am an ardent RP supporter who did not even know about him till first week of November (basically Nov. 5 money bomb news got me interested and once I saw some videos, now I am an addict that needs some of those videos every day!)

It is disappointing to see him coming fifth after expectations are raised! It is disappointing to see him coming fifth after "we, the individuals" got together and raised so much of funds for his campaign! But we need to calm down and think about it. RP is getting around 9-10% votes without any support from Special Interest Groups, Corporate Media, etc.
On top of it - for many people who have got so used to the Government handouts, entitlements, US Foreign Policy that they question themselves when they hear RP views:
- Foreign Policy where all soldiers will be back in US
- reduced/removal of Government handouts/entitlements
- abolition of lot of departments (IRS, Education, Energy, etc)
- Gold standard

I do not blame these folks - it took me a solid dosage of RP videos over a week or so to fully understand that why RP position is not so difficult (and is the best position) to implement and has a solid backing of constitution. Most of the folks are too busy with their work, sports world, celebrity news, etc - that they are not able to think through these great ground-breaking ideas! And they would rather spend whatever little time they have in finding minor differences in the positions of all other Republican/Democratic candidates.

For those of us, who have got the dosage of RP ideas/wisdom, we need to keep working at the same pace for the Primaries till RP is there in the field. I consider even 8-9% votes in the above circumstances very satisfying at this stage - and hope that more people would get to spend time to understand that:

- RP's ideas are the best for the country at this time
- RP is totally electable - if they can come over their thinking of not showing support till he proves his electability!

Once again, we need to think positive about what is happening on the ground - There are solid 9-10% people who are ready to come out, spend their time to vote for a Candidate that (unfortunately) many loud-mouths are willing to write-off as "fringe", "maverick", etc.

I hope and pray that all the fellow RonPaul volunteers and supporters can continue with the spirit and enthusiasm that has been displayed so far!

Long Live Ron Paul! Long Live Constitution!!
