Why Kucinich-Paul could be a hot ticket for 2012

I could get behind a Paul / Kucinich ticket only. I don't think i could support Ron as VP for Dennis.

Paul / Ventura is the perfect ticket, imo

But you know the media is going to try to use the "Truth movement" against us, that will be our biggest barrier if this ticket ever does happen.

Don't think it will be a problem with the People. Ventura/Paul would have to spin it in the right way it's not hard to do. You can spin it in a number of ways. You can say we need to do another investigation to correct inept bungling that occurred. You can cite Kean saying the military lied in the 9-11 commission. You can point out that we spent gobs more money investigating Bill Clinton and Monica's dress than investigating 9-11. Etc. You don't need to make the 9-11 issue your priority issue. But you can toss it in. You continue to emphasize that it's the Fed, balanced budgets, interventionism, and civil liberties that we create unprecedented change. Keep it short and sweet. On message. The facts are on our side.

But I don't think Ventura will have wide appeal. Kucinich has the Congressional bullypullpit.
A Kucinich-Paul ticket highlights non-partisansip hugely! And if Paul will take the VP slot he won't get trashed for his age. Besides, if they announce early, they will be seen as a team anyhow. Politically, it shouldn't matter much which one is president and which one is VP since they will have to agree on a platform and their cabinet would be multi-party.

I agree..

we might have to get Ventura to head the ticket though.. we will need a fighter.

To repeat - Ventura is a non-starter. Regardless of what individuals on this board think of the 9/11 issue, it does not pass muster with the electorate therefore a Ventura presidential candidacy would go nowhere. It's not the kind of position that you can "bury" beneath other rhetoric.

The MSM would simply skewer and crucify both Ron and Dennis on their irreconcilable differences.<IMHO>

Or, he could just ignore the 9/11 kooks.

Here's how I see this going down. Of course the media will initially try to make a big lampoon out of their differences (calling them "Felix and Oscar" or some bullshit) but I think the facts of the economy now begin to make policy a more serious thing for mainstream voters. Their response to this is that there are "FOUR ESSENTIAL THINGS" that all Americans need NOW regardless of political party or philosophy. And they hammer back on the Washington Press Club cross party agenda and just hammer it home day after day. 1) No foreign interventionism
2) Balanced Budget Amendment 3) Restore civil liberties 4) End the Fed. These are the things they will do. Period. They essentially promise nothing else. Since the other parties are owned by the NWO they will not be able to replicate these platform issues. They will only be able to try to shoot them down with their MSM. But the facts about the economy are not on their side and people will be good and fed up by 2012.

Now here's the way they handle their differences on other issues. They use Kucinich's ideas as part of a "transition" period to wean us off of the toxic addiction to big government. So monies budgeted for non-defense appropriations are basically Kucinich's territory. He can invest in solar or whatever the green libs like. RP organizes the parts of government that are forced into privatization through popular majority or simply lack of public tax revenues.

And also, they continue to stress that they are the only two honest members of Congress and intend to give the government back to the people.

I'm concerned that you are just being WAAAAY too logical for politics.
A Kenyan POTUS????? < LMAO >

Kucinich voted for the auto bailout. (I rest my case)

The only thing is with Kucinich is that he actually talks about the constitution and how he supports it and all, but his votes say other wise.
