Don't think it will be a problem with the People. Ventura/Paul would have to spin it in the right way it's not hard to do. You can spin it in a number of ways. You can say we need to do another investigation to correct inept bungling that occurred. You can cite Kean saying the military lied in the 9-11 commission. You can point out that we spent gobs more money investigating Bill Clinton and Monica's dress than investigating 9-11. Etc. You don't need to make the 9-11 issue your priority issue. But you can toss it in. You continue to emphasize that it's the Fed, balanced budgets, interventionism, and civil liberties that we create unprecedented change. Keep it short and sweet. On message. The facts are on our side.
But I don't think Ventura will have wide appeal. Kucinich has the Congressional bullypullpit.
A Kucinich-Paul ticket highlights non-partisansip hugely! And if Paul will take the VP slot he won't get trashed for his age. Besides, if they announce early, they will be seen as a team anyhow. Politically, it shouldn't matter much which one is president and which one is VP since they will have to agree on a platform and their cabinet would be multi-party.
