Why it's ok to vote for Johnson / Weld:

i might just vote for castle to tell the LP f you for picking johnson and weld

Plus Castle is better on the issues. All I see from Johnson's camp is lesser of three evils arguments. Many are voting for a party, if Johnson and Weld were independents no one in the liberty movement would give them the time of day. But as it is they have that blessed 'L' that makes everything okay next to their names.

No because VS will not cost anyone the White House thus causing tremendous pain. Gary Johnson could very likely.

You're just using the exact same arguments the Ds and Rs have been using for years.

The Vermin boosting is for fun, but if I vote, it will be a write for Ron Paul again.

This.

Voting for Johnson/Weld is not about agreeing with their history and position statements as much as it is about giving the one-finger salute to the establishment of either major party.

I wouldn't vote for Weld in a Republican primary. But I don't have a problem voting for him in the general this year as an LP candidate because the message it sends is that the two-party structure is not quite as strong as they want everyone to believe.
I'm against Empire/Fed. It could be argued that you could flip off the establishment with a Trump vote (runs and hides). I'm waiting to get to know Green/Constitutional party candidates. There is a good chance I don't vote for president.
