Why is there 2 money bombs going on within 2 days of each other? Sept. 17th & the 19th?

Whether or not you agree with the day that revpac chose to use it is how it is. It won't change. Too much organization and effort has already been put in this. Let revpac know that you don't think the proximity to Ron's moneybomb is a good idea so they can change things in the future. That's all you can do besides distinguishing the events for the less knowledgeable.

Let's just focus on promoting a moneybomb. Preferably the 17th but if they donate to the superpac on accident it's still a plus.

It is a big difference, though. RevPac should be making it clear theirs is for those already maxed out. You can see by another thread that the pledges for this next money bomb are far lower than usual, when given events and timing they should be higher than usual.

That is precisely what I was suggesting. That people who sent their lists info about RevPac clarify that that is an additional moneybomb for those maxed out and unable to give to the campaign, but that the campaign is the first priority for those who haven't maxed out since Ron will be reporting end of quarter numbers.

The only product RevPac is 'selling' is Ron, so I'm sure those donating there want to do so in the way that would most benefit Ron, and his campaign.

I don't think the pledges are lower because of RevPac. Getting people to promote this moneybomb is like pulling teeth.

Because people like the poster above in this thread thought this was the one they should be promoting.

I have now decided to promote both money bombs as SuperBombs for both the days. With the (virtually unknown) instructions of:

September 17th is for the official campaign and is for people who have NOT maxed out their campaign contributions.
September 19th is for Revolution PAC and is for people who have maxed out their campaign contributions.

Hopefully both Money Bombs raise over $2 Million dollars each. In my opinion the total figure will be lowered because the "momentum" will not be as significant for it will be spread over two days, instead of one exciting money raising day, which is contagious, encouraging people who are undecided to donate.

good plan. Yeah, a little coordination would have been better.

If the campaign is having a money bomb every month, there's only so much that can be done. If RevPac had moved it back by two weeks, people would be crabbing that they were scheduling it before the next official money bomb. Putting it right after the campaign's money bomb seems to be the logical solution if the goal is to capture people who just maxxed out.

Give to WHICHEVER. It doesn't matter. Let the free market decide.

@SailingAway

Coordination is great... except when it isn't. Stop lamenting the fact that we have TWO chances to give. Tom Woods put it best when he said - If you want these ads on the air, give on Sept 19. That's the only question.

If you want those ads on the air, give to the SuperPac.

If you don't. Give to the Campaign. Of course, you know, that a lot of the money we give the campaign finds its way into the Republican Party. That doesn't mean we shouldn't give to the campaign, but for those Anarachists in our midsts or democrats or LP people, etc, this is a way to give GUILT FREE! So in conclusion, stop trying to dictate what is best for everyone.

Let the market decide.

The one on the 19th is for people who have already maxed out their contributions to the campaign.

I cannot legally donate to Ron Paul's campaign anymore due to existing FEC caps on donations. I have MAXED OUT to Ron Pauls presidential campaign, based on the fact that in 08, all of the large moneybombs occurred far too late in the election season to influence anything substantial. I didn't want to have that guilt on me again, so I went all-in during quarter 1. Ron went all-in by saying he wouldn't run for re-election in congress, I went all-in for donations.

So for people like me, what the fuck am I going to do? On the 19th, I'm donating to revolutionPAC.

Stop bitching about 2 money bombs within 2 days of each other. Just donate to the one that you are legally able to donate to.

Actually, there are three. Don't forget the awesome constitutionalist representative from NC, Glen Bradley on the 17th! I don't think I donated to him during his original campaign, but even being broke I'm planning to donate a little this time. The liberty movement needs to protect its assets from attack. Speaking of which, where do we donate? I can't find his campaign website, or I'd post it here too..

Thanks a million man! And thanks for remembering!

But you can still donate to a campaign on Constitution Day to help restore the Constitutional Order. ;) http://glenbradley2012.com/ :D

I agree that this is a serious problem. I mean, what is wrong with the organizers, only 2 money bombs in 3 days? There are 3 days so that is plenty of time for 3 money bombs. Get with it!

Alright, this highlights something I have been concerned about for weeks now. People are thinking that the SuperPAC is looking for SMALL DONATIONS. I was concerned that would be the case, when they billed the fundraiser as a "super bomb". If you are a small donor, or haven't maxed out yet. PLEASE donate to the official campaign.

I only wish I could max out! I think this moneybomb is going to be SUPER!!

Well the September 17/18th money bomb raised a little over $1 Million Dollars! :)
The September 19th Money Bomb has so far raised $10,617 dollars and counting.

I think people who do not reside in America and who are not Americans, yet who still want to help by donating should donate to this link/site.

Could they just chip in on individual projects?

Could they just chip in on individual projects?

If you're a foreigner, could you just go on rpf and say "who wants something". You could just send money to
ronpauldesigns and they could send what you bought to someone else.

If someone wants to buy 10 booth kits for 10 meetups, that can be accomplished with one purchase.
