Why is there 2 money bombs going on within 2 days of each other? Sept. 17th & the 19th?

We should pick just one money bomb, for now the people are going to be confused and won't know which money bomb to support.

Ron Paul's Constitution Day Money Bomb - September 17, 2011 - RonPaulWins.com

The Ron Paul Superbomb - September 19

The one on the 19th is for people who have already maxed out their contributions to the campaign.

The 17th is for the official campaign for those who have not maxed out to the campaign. The 19th is for the Revolution Pac for companies and individuals that have maxed out to the official campaign.

If you have not maxed out donate on the 17th.

In my opinion this is a BAD idea. Way too much confusion. There should only be ONE money bomb. The second money bomb should postponed by a month. Confused people do nothing! What could potentially happen is that both money bombs could possibly be flops.

A month in politics equals A LOT of loss opportunity. Back in 2007, the campaign had a hard time launching advertisements since the money came so late in the year. We don't want the Revolution PAC to completely lack funding - they're planning to run TV ads in early primary states.

But, like others have said, official campaign comes first.

No. Stop undermining what the super PAC is trying to do. It shouldn't be too much of a hurdle for people as intelligent as Paul supporters to understand what a campaign contribution limit is.

It's not really hard to understand and I plan to donate to both. I don't expect Paul's money bombs to "flop". Quite the contrary, I expect them to get bigger and better!

Actually, there are three. Don't forget the awesome constitutionalist representative from NC, Glen Bradley on the 17th! I don't think I donated to him during his original campaign, but even being broke I'm planning to donate a little this time. The liberty movement needs to protect its assets from attack. Speaking of which, where do we donate? I can't find his campaign website, or I'd post it here too..

We already had one scheduled for Ron, then RevPac did theirs. Ron needs an end of quarter push, too, because campaign contribution totals will be announced.

As long as it is clear RevPac is for those who have maxed out, I guess it's not all that bad. It would have been near one money bomb or another.

I am not trying to "undermine" anything. The 19th moneybomb has been planned and promoted for weeks. And now all of a sudden the 17th moneybomb/video is being promoted, which only has approximately 2000 views as compared to about 19,000 views for the 19th. I just think it is foolish to promote the 17th moneybomb when the 19th money bomb had already occupied the month of September.

This has already been decided long ago. The campaign is doing a moneybomb once a month, Constitution day is the next one. RevPAC is for maxed out donors that have more money to give. Its easy to figure out which one you should donate to. There is more then one video for the Constitution day moneybomb, I made this one:

No, that is backwards. Ron's was planned and listed on the schedule since May. RevPac wasn't even around yet.

I was pissed when RevPac chose to do it so near Constitution Day, the day of all the year that most resonates with Ron's message imho, when there was already one planned for Ron. And Ron NEEDS one at the end of the quarter because his fundraising numbers will be reported.

If RevPac goes after those who haven't maxed out, much of whom may well think that is a Ron Paul moneybomb, and Ron doesn't have good end of quarter numbers as a result of that, it will take a lot of promotion by RevPac to make up for the damage it does Ron in the media.

End of quarter numbers are huge, in the media.

Whoever scheduled the 19th money bomb was not thinking then. Common sense should tell you that you don't schedule a money bomb two days after another money bomb, especially at a time when many American's are going broke. I have been busy promoting the 19th SUPER moneybomb, (which hopefully was going to break the $7 Million Dollar mark and set the record, to now only find out I should have been promoting the 17th moneybomb. Now if I inform people on my contact list I am going to look foolish for wanting to switch the date, as they are set for the 19th. I doubt any of them have maxed out their contributions. Now, I don't know what to do or what to tell them. So I just won't do anything I guess and hope for the best.

I would definitely tell them that the one on the 19th is for people who have maxed out to the campaign and for those who haven't they should 'still go ahead' and donate to the Constitution Day money bomb for Ron Paul on September 17 at the campaign site: www.ronpaul2012.com and impress on them the importance of end of quarter numbers being reported.

If RevPac has tens of thousands of pledges I am certain they are getting people who think they are donating to a RON PAUL money bomb.

Let's just focus on promoting a moneybomb. Preferably the 17th but if they donate to the superpac on accident it's still a plus.
