Why is Ron Paul's head on Rachel Maddows show on MSNBC?

On MSNBC right now, an image of Ron Paul's head is just there on her show when they aren't cutting away to show something else. What's the deal with that?

She's one of the most fair to Ron Paul I've heard on all the major networks. I don't mind her show too much.

Yes, it's been there the whole show when they don't cut away to something else. At the beginning she said something like "Oh look, it's Ron Paul's head!" and kind of pointed at it...but then didn't mention it again.

I just turned it on and yes, it's there. Just out in space in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

Theory: Maddow is using this to tease people into watching her show, attracting viewers via the Ron Paul magnet. Then at the end of the show she'll have some brief comment about Ron Paul.

Maybe, but I'll never forgive her for the way she treated Rand.
