Clueless is just clueless. Go start a Rand Paul forums. You would fit right in. 06-14-2012 08:49 PM
Feelgood

Keep the neg reps coming. It's not like they matter anyway. :D

I was pretty close to giving you a neg rep as well. And to be clear, only one person was rude. A few even pointed you in the right direction.

Please respond after you watch this short clip.

Classic. Thanks for sharing. I posted to my FB w the following quote:

“The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum.” - Noam Chomsky

no vote is wasted unless it is done in a way that it isn't tallied.
A write-in for Ron Paul will never be considered wasted in my book. When the economy crashes and martial law is declared, at least I can proudly say, "I tried."

ETA: I would also like to say that a vote for either Romney or Obama IS a wasted vote. TF is the difference? Rhetoric? Iran here "we" come.

Yes, I have a question.

Why do you think Romney is a conservative?

Mitt Romney reminds me of former Florida governor Charlie Crist. Spoke a conservative game to get elected in 2006, then turned more moderate/liberal when he ran for senate in 2010.

That's ridiculous. One way or the other, they achieve the same things. You can't believe a word Romney says. The SC judges aren't going to follow the Constitution either way. I can almost guarantee that based on my studies of what has happened in the past. It's nonsense to focus on one thing like this and base your judgment on a "lesser of two evils" standard.

You may have forgot one thing, though. If we let Romney win this time, there will be no liberty movement in 2016. The Dems aren't going to allow that in their party. We can't run someone against an incumbent president in the same party.

at least have a write-in slate of electors filed with your state.
or at least try to get ron on your ballot with electors.
the presidential vote isn't for a presidential candidate, it is for electors. if you vote for ron paul it doesn't count unless you have made arrangements to have a slate of electors.

This is a major reason why any Constitutionalist may want to consider voting for Romney for President. However, I simply can't vote for someone who is going to get our country involved in a war with Iran and Syria. If Romney pursues that policy, he'll be a one term President, and we'll have liberal Democratic Presidents for the next 20 years. Then, the Supreme Court really will be extremely liberal.

plus think about the media it would generate if ron paul ended up on ballots in november?

Pro-tip: calling people morons isn't a good way to convert them to your cause

I agree. I can't bring myself to vote for Romney, but if you like Romney and want to vote for him, more power to you. I'm not going to criticize you for that. Also, it seems funny that so many people here won't criticize the members who openly admit that they're voting for Obama. People here don't have any problem with the libertarians who are voting for a socialist. That's what leads me to believe that a lot of the members here are more liberal than libertarian.

Most of the members here that say they are voting for Obama are doing it to stick it to the GOP, not because of some illusion that he is slightly better than the other guy.
