Why doesn't Ron Paul make a yt video addressing everyone that he is NOT quitting?

That moneybomb was not a RP2012 moneybomb.

For an independent org they had a pretty decent fundraiser.

Ron Paul's momentum is slipping fast! A lot of people think that he has already quit. Ron Paul needs to make a video explaining to everyone that he is still in this fight and has not given up; hence neither should we.

The latest Money Bomb is a flop.

In the absense of real information, speculation starts to rapidly fill the void. It is getting wierd now.

Let sleeping dogs lie...

You really want to wake up the Romney hounds? what? no? ok, so there ya go.

It means there is speculation that we still have a shot at winning this, as long as we fly under the radar and don't make too many enemies between now and August. I am not sure if this will work or not, but I sure hope it does :)

Neg rep me all you guys want, but some around here are starting to sound like that woman that says 'he'll quit hitting me when I learn better, so I know he will'. Time to face reality, as painful as that is.

even negative news reporting is better than nothing. To stay "under the radar" will not work. But I'm writing in RPs name anyway and voting for him.

I'm confused about something. At our local convention, we were all pretty silent about who we supported. No one at our convention spoke Ron Pauls name out loud. No one spoke up in favor of Ron Paul or downed Mitt Romney. It was all about getting selected as a delegate. In which all of us RP supporters were selected. At the state convention, we have the same strategy. To just get our people selected and voted to go to Tampa. I think most districts are allowed 3 plus 1 super delegate. And that's all that matters.

My question is, how did the RP delegates get known as to who they supported?

at the beginning they say something provocative like 'reign in the federal reserve' or 'who here supports Ron Paul?' and see who cheers.

Many of our guys have this condition, and can't help it.

(I say that sadly, but absolutely understanding where they are coming from.)

Ron's money bomb was earlier this month and took in about $850,000, not bad for someone who said he wasn't putting any more money into primary states in order to put his money into getting delegates though the state convention process, and was widely and falsely reported as dropping out.

I'm beginning to wonder if this whole situation was created so that Ron Paul could remove himself from the "leader" position. A revolution or movement with a noticeable leader can be easily expunged if the leader is suddenly removed. If Paul could remove himself in a manner that does not destroy the movement, but decentralizes it, that would be best. By the responses I have seen on this forum from those ignoring the campaign and continuing on without them, that may have been just the goal.

All this does not fit his character....
What's the point of quitting now?
My only hope is that RP is hatching the most cunning, spectacular plot ever and he'll come out after he's got the nomination, or after he's started his 3rd Party run and explain his silence and we'll all bow down and say we are not worthy.

Ron Paul brought us to water and now its our turn to take over and drink. This has never been about one man. If Paul was elected and the liberty movement stopped there, it would fail miserably. We need a full-circle change in elected officials and RP has shown us we have the numbers for real change.

I find it telling that RP never said he was out of the race, or he couldn't win. The campaign/Doug Wead said it, if it came from RP it would have different meaning to me. There is a reason he is silent on this and we may not find out until after Tampa.

I take this as a general point - but why empty the water 10 meters from the line? Why not carry it over the line and hand it over?

because Ron Paul is pulling a round 8....aka Rope a dope...

Coincidence - I just re-watched the fight a couple of hours ago. The rope a dope theory is actually a distortion of the fight. Ali was by far the better fighter that night, was ahead from round 1 and only sat back 2 or 3 times.

I'd like things to go like this one (watch it all, its worth it):

I really think he or his family was threatened, politically or physically. Look at what happened to Andrew Jackson, Abe Lincoln, and JFK. Anyone who has ended or tried to end the US central bank system has been a target of assassination.

Because that couldn't have waited until November? Why?

I sincerely doubt it.

I think everyone would feel better if we had some sort of indication that Ron Paul was busy plotting the best course of action that would give him the greatest chance of winning the nomination in Tampa. A lot of people at this point feel a sense of uncertainty and deflation. We need a sign of continued fight and life.
