Why doesn't ANYONE AT THE RNC want to discuss FOREIGN POLICY?

Condi said all that was necessary for the RNC.

You heard her speech, right? Talk about a call to arms against Muslims and the rest of the boogeymen in the world...

Truth is: MOST AMERICANS THINK WE NEED TO END THE DAMN WARS.
I don't know if that's true. Maybe some polls say it is. But I know more people that worship the warfare state than not.

There has been poll after poll that shows over 60% of Americans want to bring the troops home from Afghanistan.

The thing is, on January 1st, SEQUESTRATION will go into effect. A big $500 BILLION cut in defense spending...

Getting kinda close, eh? You'd think it would be a MAJOR topic of discussion.

Even Dick Morris told O'Reilly on O'Reilly's show that the foreign policy views outlined by McCain aren't popular with the American people and isn't a good issue for the Republicans.

Some CFR guy on talk radio said that the Romney campaign is planning on airing a bunch of AMERICAN EXCEPTIONALISM ads soon.

Good luck with that.

HA.

They discussed it yesterday, during John McCain's speech. The one about standing with Israel and then the TV behind him had the Israeli and U.S. flags flying together.

Promises of peace won Obama the election. And could have defeated him, if the GOP had enough sense to nominate a man of peace instead of a warmongering chickenhawk.

Oh, they talked about foreign policy plenty. They talked about the need for our military to spread freedom around the world and oh, don't forget, the mini-infomercial pledging complete and undying allegiance and open purse strings to Israel.

I hope you are right. I can only cite my own experiences living in a red state with most people I know being neo-cons (in my opinion).
