I am Catholic because I was born to a Catholic man.

I haven't darkened the door of a Catholic church since the Vatican declined to take a ZERO TOLERANCE/RIGOROUS PROSECUTION position on Child Molestation. And yet, insofar as I have not been formally excommunicated nor have I issued formal denouncement of my religion, I am STILL Catholic.

Muslims can speak for Islam but I can DEFINITELY speak for Catholicism when I say it is a "gift" that keeps on giving. Bill Maher once said of religion that it is like mercury in your teeth. It got DRILLED in -- you gotta drill it back out.
