This has been the biggest grassroots movement in history.
I believe we have the plurality of delegates to get the good Dr into nomination.

But if that doesn't happen in tampa and if RP isn't the Reblicrat Nominee Why should we let that stop us?

We have broken records over and over in fundraising, we have organized the largest grassroots effort ever!

So why can't we:

Get all the Superpac's together for one cause after the RNC Fundraising , joining resources and RUN our OWN
Grassroots RP campaign for President!
We can do National TV ad buys with Google TV and run em over and over very inexpensive.

Get DR Paul in the Debates against Romney and Obama! (can't hardly type those names without upchucking)
Get VOTE RP SIGNS all over the country like we did in 2007-2008!!
Let the people know they have a choice and why , and why they don't have to choice between 2 evils crammed down their throats!
We need to Plague Romney and obama events, interviews , debates etc.. with VOte Ron paul signs !

Why can't we raise some Money for a national Ad buy and tell the american general population that they Still Have a choice!
Why can't we educate a few more million?
Why can't we use the Obamney Media Show that is coming for the next 6 months against them?
Why Can't We continue "OUR" Campaign For Liberty and elect the President We Want?
Why Do we "Have to follow the Sheepherders rules?
Are you tired of being stolen from every time they turn on the printing press?
Are you tired of being told you can't have a life saving medicine or treatment because they haven't figured out a way to tax it yet? (No FDA approval)
Are you tired of your standard of living to continue to decline because regulatory powers are in the hands of a few ?
Are you Just Tired of the Bullshit?

Then Let's band together and take the fight to them to the bitter end!

I for one will be filing a formal public withdrawal from the GOP after the RNC is RP isn't the nominee.
I will Write him in period!

Is there any indication that Ron Paul wants this to happen?

It is likely that if we have our shit together (and we don't. we never have. maybe for about 3 weeks in October-November 2007) we could influence the election.

We could swing it to Romney by supporting Johnson, who attacks Obama on Civil Liberties, The War, and Legalize It (and if there was a way to target Monsanto against Obama). And target college students with that.

We could swing it to Obama by supporting Goode, who attacks Romney for being insufficiently conservative, being indistinguishable from Obama. The problem with that is that tea party (the targets of the message) are really against Obama. The college students are soft, easy pickins with the right message. A handful of swing states. Light blue democrat states. The Democrats won New Mexico last time. Spend a lot of time there. Rallies in Orono, State College, Ann Arbor, Madison, Mplstpaul, Iowa City, Boulder, Las Vegas, Portland, OR. And other cities with hipsters in those states.

I admire your spirit and enthusiasm, it is extremely refreshing to see such as positive post. I would say though that it is necessary to channel our passionate support into more productive means, instead of dreams which that have no realistic chance of success.

We must start focusing on other means of promoting liberty like supporting the Mises Institute, Campaign for Liberty, the Free State Project, read Austrian Economics and introduce others to it, help liberty media such as FreeTalkLive, Adam Kokesh, Schiff Radio, Stefan Molyneux, Ron Paul Radio et al. engage in civil disobedience, or even run for local office yourself.

There are many avenues besides electoral politics to spread the message of liberty so by 2016 the R3VOLUTION will have grown enough to elect a liberty candidate as president.

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus Announces
First Wave of Republican Convention Headliners

Tampa, Fla. - Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus today announced the first list of headliners addressing the Republican National Convention August 27-30. Additional convention speakers, including the keynote, will be announced in the coming days and weeks. The speakers are:

South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, the first female governor of South Carolina and the youngest sitting governor in the United States;

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, the 44th governor of Arkansas and 2008 presidential candidate is a NY Times best-selling author, radio and television show host;

Ohio Governor John Kasich, former House Budget Committee chairman;

New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez, the first female Hispanic governor in the U.S. and the first female governor of New Mexico;

Arizona Senator John McCain, the party's 2008 nominee, now serving his fifth term in the U.S. Senate;

Former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, America's 66th secretary of state and the first African-American female to hold the position; and

Florida Governor Rick Scott, from the convention host state.

"We are proud and excited to announce these outstanding leaders will address the nation during our convention in Tampa," said Chairman Priebus. "They are some of our party's brightest stars, who have governed and led effectively and admirably in their respective roles. Ours will be a world class convention, worthy of the next president of the United States, and these speakers-and those that will be announced later-will help make it a truly memorable and momentous event."

Republican National Convention Chief Executive Officer William Harris noted that "these individuals exemplify the Republican Party's commitment to economic growth and long-term job creation, and reflect our proud tradition of protecting America's interests around the world."

The Republican and Democrats don't agree on much, but they would probably see us as insurgents and work together to keep us from over-throwing their idea of government. The fight against the Republican establishment has been bloody, I can only imagine the steps they will take to control the uprising.

At this point Ron's name wouldn't even be on the ballot in all 50 states. Ron has said time and time again he doesn't want to run as an Independent and he meant it. I find it amusing that Paul supporters got so pissed off when the media asked him that question over and over and now some of those supporters are in bed with the idea of him running 3rd party.

I'll write his name and too for what it's worth but the outcome will be the same. Barack Obama 2012-2016.

It is likely that if we have our shit together (and we don't. we never have. maybe for about 3 weeks in October-November 2007) we could influence the election.

This. +1. So true. I love you.
Everything has always seemed so scattered with no sense of direction.

I believe the GOP is on it's last leg, It would tickle me to death to see a Johnson/Paul ticket. It would GUT the GOP. Johnson/Paul would tear Obamanation to shreads in a debate.

1. Quite a few states have filling deadlines before the convention. Some have already passed. It was either go to Tampa and try or file and blow the R's up.
2. Ron said he didn't want to run 3rd party
3. We can't out fundraise the D's and R's
4. Our grassroots has been impresive but there has been others before us.
5. Our efforts are probably better served being realistic about our expectations rather then shooting for the moon and only getting our feet off the ground.

They have to have 15% national polling to get into the debates. I don't think Johnson is even close. Even if you add "us" into it, I doubt it would get us over the 15% hump. At this point you go to Tampa, get what you can get. Focus on other senate and house races and punt till 2016.....hoping there is such a thing left by then.

The D's and R's passed the stupid 15% rule to make sure things like us don't have a chance of happening.
