I highly doubt that McCain is, or ever was, a fan of Trump's foreign policy. And I doubt that there was a deal. The more likely scenario is that despite all of their efforts to derail Trump, they finally capitulated - but only at the end - when it was obvious that Trump could not be stopped. They hope to have a seat at the table, so they begrudgingly suck up like the parasites they are.

Why not? Trump is very bombastic against Iran, when its comes to Iran they speak the same language.

Yes, Trump hates the "deal", but do you hear him talking about "bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran" like McCain? The neocons want WAR, whereas Trump doesn't.

McCain was forced to get behind Trump because his constituents are Trump supporters and he is up for reelection.

Trump's also bombastic on ISIS, and McCain's a "terrist" fighter from way back. And while Trump boasts he'll "get better deals" from defense contractors, he also talks about enlarging the Navy that can already defeat all other navies combined. So there won't be any cuts.

Iran is the biggest sponsor of terrorism around the world. And we will work to dismantle that reach, believe me, believe me.

Who said this? Mccain Or Trump? You can dismantle these networks by cutting off the head (Iran) or going into 25 different countries. When did Trump decide to run for president? In the last 5 years, Trump has been deeply embedding himself into neocon foreign policy, and if you don't see this then you are drinking the cool aid.

we will totally dismantle Iran’s global terror network
Iran has seeded terror groups all over the world. During the last five years, Iran has perpetuated terror attacks in 25 different countries on five continents.

Tricky decision for him. He would probably just not have one. He wants somebody with experience with Washington to help work with Congress but he doesn't want to be seen as too "insider". He also likes "yes men". Somebody to appeal to mainstream Republicans.

Not a tricky decision at all. Scott Brown ticks off all those criteria plus he is EXTREMELY GOOD LOOKING. That last point is incredibly important to Trump. He understands optics. Brown has also never betrayed Trump, which means Trump can trust him. Kasich is a complete loose canon that would be flailing his arms about and putting his foot in his mouth every 5 seconds.

Condi Rice?

I'd guess Gingrich. Not like Trump has any chance of winning, but if he did he wouldn't want to deal with the everyday business of being potus. Newt loves that stuff.

Rand paul or paul ryan, to give Trump some small government street cred

That paul ryan is so hot right now

It doesn't really matter. He could pick me, I still would not vote for that asshat.
