Who here think Frank Luntz chose the people in the MTV audience?

Your average person is... not smart. MTV picked random people... maybe they should have picked people who actually wanted to be there and knew what was going on, lol.

I think they are some idiots busted by the cops for underage drinking, so as a punishment they had to attend it. So not much brain there :D

no, you are on point! - it is a shame our youth are dumb and dummerer!

Your wrong. The computer guy from the Washington Post IS Frank Luntz in disguise :D

MTV chose ardent socialists. What do you expect?

Actually most people think they are that because Bush scared them from the Republican party and they don't understand how the economy works

Most of them looked like they didn't have a freakin' clue what was going on. The had the deer in headlights look. If they're the future, I'm leaving.

These people are, for the most part, idiots. Am I off base here?

This is exactly why we are not doing well with the votes, guys. This is our education system, and the influence of television, video games, computers, ipods, etc. This is where our country is, sadly. No critical thinking abilities, no studying, no analyzing, no digging deeper to know the truth about anything.

Not much difference between the young folks worried about free healthcare, or helping poor people in other countries with our money, or getting free money for college, or saving the environment with our money- and the old folks who don't want to give up their meds and need our money, or are worried about losing their pension power, or are afraid of terrorists, or who cannot think for themselves but allow tv commercials and talking heads and talk show radio think for them. Well, at least the old folks have paid into the system and it is their money they are getting back now. Overall, it is sad, eh?

Well, these young people have older folks who are their parents and grandparents, so what does that say for America? We have a lot of work to do! Good educational experience for all of us here, now we see what we face and can hone our education skills down a bit more.

It seems as if the audience questions really weren't geared to any particular candidate, but rather hand-picked by a group. Somebody here said they were reading from a teleprompter...is that true?

the one kid that asked obama a question with the rutgers sweatshirt, i was like 'how the hell did he get into college?' they seemed to be interested in dr. paul for sure though...

high probability that the audience was stacked for a pro liberal/socialist ideology...as I am sure MTV is endorsing either hillary/ or obama, but had to have RP on, or otherwise face a scathing rebuke and attack by the general public

Half of the young people in that audience looked like they might be ready to vote in 2012.
