Which country will erupt in a revolution next?

Why do you guys say Spain? I don't know much about the political system there, so the suggestion seems odd to me, but I currently have a friend studying abroad I'd be worried about if something broke out there.

Yemen, Jordan, Iran, the Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States; if Saudi Arabia falls the riots will hit USA cities in a couple of months as a result of $300 oil, $15 gas, and doubled food prices.

Will the USA revolts be led by Democrats demanding the oil industries by nationalized like their hero Hugo Chavez has done?

Or will the USA revolts by aimed AT the Democrats and their environmentalist allies who have shackled our energy so badly? No new nuclear power plants. Offshore oil drilling shut down.

I've heard reports that Syria has also locked down their internet, some protests popping up there along with Jordan and Yemen.

Ireland is my bet under the condition of the soon to be newly elected government deciding to stick it to the people instead of going the Iceland route.

I'm feeling Ireland too, it may be a while longer, but when it happens, it won't be pretty.

It definitely will not be any European country. They may see minor protest, but they have the EU to bail them out and prop up their state for a few years. Middle Eastern countries have no such "safety net" and they have very different reasons for revolting. Spain has economic problems where as Egypt, Yemen, and others are ruled by corrupt dictators that torture citizens.

Consensus in the Arab world:

Most likely: Algeria, Jordan, Yemen, Sudan
Likely: Mauritania, Syria, Morocco
Less likely: Saudi Arabia
Unlikely: GCC states

Basically most of the Arab world.

Libya Next?

The one country landlocked between Tunisia and Egypt has so far been oddly silent. Not so much any more. Al Jazeera reports that the Libyan government has imposed a state of emergency for "fear of demonstrations and rallies" comparable to those in Tunisia and Egypt.

I wonder how many Americans will care about the Israeli's when the realization of all the decades of consuming our capital is apparent and the fall bellows. No, I do not expect such realities to illuminate the minds of the Neo-Conservatives and Zionists like Chucky Schumer. I am really getting tired of hearing about Israel, this, Israel that. If I have to hear the complaints of far off countries while we disintegrate under the tyranny here at home I will start to pull my hair out. I really do dislike the boobisie, quite a lot.

For all the Americans who abhorr the pimp, they sure love to be one seeing as we bribe and pimp out nearly everyone in the world. Makes me so mad. Where's our America First committee for the 21st Century? :(

Possibly Sudan. Syria is due for a revolt, but it seems too many people are absolutely terrified of their government to even think about revolution.

Methinks Jordan will be one of several that are next.
