Technically, research is showing now that IQ is not fixed and can be changed, but to change it, you need the right kind of brain activity, and that's just not happening today. I blame the dumbing down of schoolwork.
I was talking with my high school English teacher about this, and she talked about how reading material that she used to be required to teach 10th graders was now considered 12th grade material. That's what's happening and why people are so stupid.
Not to mention, my economics teacher and civics teacher were both hard-core democrats who made us write "republicans=monarchy democrats=people" on our tests.![]()

Some people are smart, others aren't. School can give you knowledge and tell you facts, but I don't think it can make a dumb person smart. If anything, it stops one from developing the ability to teach themselves new things.
