In the recent PPP Poll of texas, Ron is preforming the same as PAWLENTY and worse than Perry among 18-29 year olds when pegged against Obama. Uh.. How can this be?

Generally speaking, the youth don't vote. I hope this changes but any campaign that is counting on the youth to out-vote senior citizens is certifiable.

Sheeple looking for answers and getting railroaded with the countless of "true" false solutions or non-solutions to our problems that the propaganda machine spins to them.

It's easy as pie really because people don't learn how to think and instead rely on authorities of their communities(parents, friends, priests, elected officials, media propaganda, ect.) to receive the facts.

How do we fix this? It's either by teaching people how to think, which is what we ultimately have to do, or by developing our own superior propaganda that can withstand all the other propaganda and still get enough people to believe in our solutions even if they don't know how to think which is what I think would be the most productive in the short term.

Either way it's because of our failure to do either of these things that we have this situation that we have. I keep repeating this over and over and over again, fighting mainstream media propaganda should be our primary focus if we want Ron to have a chance. He will not win, if we don't learn this lesson which the OP is proof of. Period. I don't know how much more evidence you need?

No, it isn't deflection, I acknowledge the data point, but think it is insufficient to draw much of a conclusion from.

How many times have you been polled in the last year? Where were you when and if you were polled? Is that a place you normally frequent? Were you with your friends? Are you male or female? Was it a funded poll or was it a non-profit org? Was it over the phone?

If I want to create a poll to show you specific results and have the necessary means to do so I can. Simply by asking the right people the right questions I can be assured of the outcome of any poll I want. The only poll I have no control over the legitimacy of is an internet poll. I can, by myself, in a few hours time, turn any online poll upside down and make it say whatever I want to. Its not hard and there are many many people who do it. Why do you think people dont trust online voting?

When I hear people say get out the youth vote it tells me they have no clue what the youth vote is. Do you remember high school and college? Do you remember that only 15% of people are critical thinkers and the rest ponder pop tarts and robocop with their idle brain?The youth vote will go to people like tpaw because tpaw spent a lot of money to ensure that he could post some numbers with them. But they will not vote and tpaw wont even run for real. They will forget about it in a delicate chase of sexual organs, parties, classes, getting high, and humping politicians for some chance at a career that will take them out of their pathetic town. If you want the youth vote all you have to do is do like they do, scare the shit out of them. Because nothing motivates a hormonal boner like fear. i heard a story once about a flash mob that only raided book stores for copies of 1984. Then they broke into the school libraries and left them there. Turns out I made that up.

being a good leader is completely subjective and seeing as none of us have seen a world leader pre-Roosevelt we have to be satisfied with the people accounts of their leaders, which is where history becomes invaluable. We are both assholes, but only one of us is right.
