Am I the only person that is confused about how anyone can say "global temperature" and mean anything at all about anywhere someone might actually experience weather?
Where's that f#@king global warming?!

OK, not really. Sure, it is unusually cold in LA. Though, it is the same temp. in Boston as in LA. That is usually high for Boston.

Nobody ever said we're all going to die just because of global warming. Sandy survivors didn't have to die to have their lives ruined.

You thought I don't remember if the article I had previously read included international temperature monitoring stations? OoooKaaay...
I would be surprised if you can find me any article (with good sources) that says
1) majority of all stations in all countries have are in urban areas
AND
2) majority of urban affected areas are also where they find the highest temperatures
That's what I thought and meant.
