So, you're either with us- or against us?
These people are just upset Obama won over McCain. They don't give a shit about libertarian principles. Besides, personally I think Obama is the lesser of two evils if compared to McCain anyway. All these tea parties and rallies are more about demonstrating against Obama than actually caring about the principles, and that's how it's going to be viewed by the general population.
You need to follow the money.
Alright, well, the first step is to bring all the troops home and end the world empire. Let's see how many of these people are on board with that.
Before the end of 2009, you are going to not be concerned with Obamas jump shot.
You will be freaking out.
No I won't. I have all my investments in gold/silver/oil and shorting Treasury bonds.
...and what does that have to do with these people having no credibility?

But I wonder...where were these people during the Bush years?
A) The "tea party" phenomenon amongst everyday non-libertarian Americans will fade away.
B) The Republican Party, Hannity, Fox, etc. will score some points without REAL CHANGE in how our population approaches government waste/ spending.
What do you think?
It is great to see so many people across the country take to the streets to demand limited taxes, limited government and zero tolerance for bailouts, etc.
But I wonder...where were these people during the Bush years?
I don't mean the hardcore RP and libertarian people who have been tea partying for years.
I'm talking about the Hannity and Rush "conservatives" who laughed at Dr. Paul during the debates and supported big government (Department of "Defense") Republicans like Giuliani.
Bush was all about the Prescription Drug Bill, Homeland "Security" Department, NASA Mission to Mars, Iraq War of Choice, Federal Employee pay raises, etc.
But I don't remember any Fox News Channel sponsored rallies or AM talk radio encouraged marches and chants of "We're mad as hell and we're not going to take it anymore" from 2001 - 2008.
This makes me think that:

Ditto...Honestly, I was still asleep. I had no idea what was happening until Ron Paul came into the picture.
