I live in Alaska, so if tshtf I'm pretty much confined to the north, thinking about heading into the mountains and maybe to Canada in the worst scenario.
Hey cool! I have to go there in a month or so for some work stuff.
Is that where the blue people live?![]()
I think each state needs to have a meeting place in case travel is impossible. If travel is possible I think a moutainous area would be best. Georgia or Tennesee may be a good choice. I think too that we all do need to invest in radios. A disaster would probably disrutp phones also. I was once in a group that were supposed prophets. They have places already set up in the moutains. They have a call list for if something happens the guy calls everyone. They have supplies ready and packed and well as supplies stored in the moutains. I no longer communicate with them but still get their e-mails. Alot, of people are making these type plans. I think most of us know it's just a matter of time before a disaster happens and it's not a bad idea to have a plan. If food gets scarce I believe the city will be the worst place to be. It will get ugly quick.
I have reported this thread to the proper authorities.
Campaign talk is one thing, sedition is something else.
everyone can money bomb and buy a few thousand acres in wyoming or montana, only because they are the only states left with tht kind of land available. We can wall it off and declare independence from the US.
each resident will own a minimum of 10 acres of land on which to build their homestead, power will be provided via a combination of biodiesel, solar, wind, hydro, ethanol
You don't have to read the thread, or post in it if you find it offensive.

My friends and I already have a plan in case all hell breaks loose. We could implement Phase I in less than an hour. If anybody else wants to join us in Pikeville, KY, we'll be here, armed and ready. It's in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains and there's a river here.
What we DO need to do is to gather one another's land-line phone numbers and physical addresses (espcially for those that live outside the larger urban areas) so we can make contact if/when the you-know-what realy does hit the proverbial fan. We might also want to think about the trades/crafts that we are good at and capable of without additional training (like farming, canning, sewing, blacksmithing, animal husbandry, mechanics, electricians, doctors, nurses, etc.). as well as those who are actually capable of protecting everything from unwelcome 'guests'. I think you'll find that many people will talk a good game but if it actually came down to pulling the trigger on another American just because they were hungry or sick, they wouldn't be able to deal with it.
Sad but true but something that real survivalists have been having to contemplate for years now
