When do we know our delegate count for Iowa?

Me too. I would love to say Ron Paul got the second largest amount of precinct delegates. I'm sure Romney's huge money organization probably got first. I doubt the other campaigns were capable of it, but I'm anxious to see after hearing all the stories of the majority winner at precincts getting 0 delegates.

Are delegates legally obligated to vote for the majority winner? Does their opinion only come into play when there is no consensus?

The delegates selected on thursday night were all local delegates that will go to their county conventions and vote on party platform issues and select delegates to go to the district convention.

The county convention for My county (Jefferson) is on March 8th. My understanding is that I will go and try to get myself or a like minded Ron Paul supporter elected to go to the district delegation and there they will select delegates to go to the state convention. The state delegates will vote in the National convention.

The state convention isn't until June 8th.

So we can target the delegates to convert them?
