Making a profit by operating safely and more competitively than the other guy, no longer means shit.

All that matters is the message and if you go broke delivering that message, well, so be it.

See, Disney, NASCAR, Gillette, Bud Light, et al.

The people running these outfits have all been trained at the same Marxist indoctrination camps, they all march in lock step, they all believe the same thing.

If you own such a business or are the CEO of such a business, and you want to avoid such a fate, first thing in the morning, go in and fire every single "Ivy League" MBA in your outfit.

It's a "notch" power lever, just like the old trolley cars but vertically instead of horizontally mounted.

Yup, stayed right on it until the very last second when something prompted her to look up.

I liked the "mash every button" Homer Simpson response with her right hand.

It was an older 737-800, which is ICAO aircraft type designator B738. A 737-Max8 is B38M. If this was a MAX this would be sensationalized to no end by the media.

A United Boeing 737-800, registration N77510 performing flight UA-1639 from Kahului,HI to San Francisco,CA (USA), was enroute at FL340 over the Pacific Ocean about 210nm northeast of Honolulu,HI (USA) when the crew initiated an emergency descent due to the loss of cabin pressure, the passenger oxygen masks were released. The aircraft levelled off at 10,000 feet about 8 minutes later (average rate of descent 3000fpm) and diverted to Honolulu for a safe landing on runway 08R about 85 minutes later.

The remainder of the flight was cancelled.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 3 days before positioning to San Francisco. The aircraft is still on the ground in San Francisco 2 days after landing there.
