I started dating a girl recently and she wanted me to do the Meyers-Briggs personality test. I kept putting it off, because I thought it was just stupid. Finally I caved and did it. Oh boy am I ever glad. The test absolutely nailed me 100%, and it taught me so much more about myself, her, and all those around me. We also discovered that we are a perfect match for each other. I am the rare ENTP and she's an INTJ, very rare for a girl.
I bring this up because I think it could help us here with all our infighting and divisiveness. It will help us understand each other and will help us communicate to others in a way they better understand. You see it clearly here all the time - I will say something, and others will be high-fiving me, and others want to spit on me. But if we can appreciate that we all see the same things differently, then I think we could bring far more harmony here. See, I'm an ENTP, and for many people, ENTPs really grate them the wrong way. ENTPs are not easy to get along with unless you're an INTJ or an ENFP, but with those people we're passionate friends, staying up till 4am talking about religion and politics, never ever getting bored.
Go and do the test yourself if you feel so inclined, and post your results below: http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp
That page is one of the only ones online that does not ask for any personal info in order to display your score.
And here's some profile info about me: http://www.personalitypage.com/html/ENTP_rel.html
