Just a book? LOL. Just the book that told you that the maximum life span is 120 years, 3,000 years before science.
Common sense.
Just the book that told you to put your land on fallow, 3,000 years before science.
Agriculture and domestic cultivation was developed 13,000 years ago. Again, common sense for the people during the times.
Just the book that told you not to become a debtor, and to use a sound money, 3,000 years before von Mises.
I'm not going to pretend to know about economics during those times, but again, this just a common sense issue.
Just the book that told you to not have a centralized government because God is the only true king, 2,500 years before man came up with the idea.
Whose God?

Not trying to turn this into a Bible bashing thread, because I respect the individual's choice to follow which religion they prefer. I was just pointing to the fact that people buy too much into what was written in that book, or take it too literally. Do you know how many times it has been revised since its inception?
Anyways, back on topic. I'm not trying to de-rail a good thread.
