In NH they were by this time already reporting some results. And nothing from MI yet?
 
Most of Michigan is Eastern time. They should begin reporting soon. There is a small part toward the west that goes by Central time though.
 
I heard one group start compiling random counties at 8pm and should have reliable results by 9pm. They said their sample fit within 0.4pct in the 2004 primary.
 
I read that polls don't close until 9PM EST, so I assumed they were an hour behind. My bad.
 
They need time to fix the results. Still busing in the welfare folks too.
 
The southwestern part of the UP is central time. I don't think they can report totals until all of the polls close. That being said, a lot of totals should go up fast with the head start.
