What time are you donating?

I'm a little concerned about the website being overwhelmed at 12:00am est.
Let's have a little poll to see when people are planning on donating.

The campaign just upgraded their servers, presumably in anticipation for the 16th. Let's hope the website does not crash due to overwhelming traffic and/or malicious hackers.

On November 5th I recall someone donating and posting a screen shot of their name but the time on the screen shot said 11:57 PM ET ... Ooops...I think it was someone from the ThisNovember5th group too.

Someone jumped the gun that day.

Sofar looks like less than a third. Sure hope this doesn't go for the rest of the web as well.
At 12:00 est there are going to be 10,000+ people on rp2008.com and perhaps a couple thousand will be donating. I am seriously concerned.

It's probably safe to say the donations will be similar in proportion to November 5th. So... there'll be a "spike" at 12 am before it calms down for the night, but later in the day money will be rolling in constantly much faster than it will in the first hour.

It is the middle of the night, after all. The people that have seen this poll and would respond to it the fastest are going to be the ones most on top of things and probably the ones most likely to be donating first thing, as well.

ya i say donate early.. the more people that donate at midnight the better... if its gonna crash it might as well be at midnight and then we still have plenty of time to get it straightened out before morning... plus it will cut down on the number of donations during the peak times when normal people are awake
