What the hell is the Campaign doing with all the f***ing money?

This guy here...

http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=83155

...Is saying that the campaign has a secret strategy to win. He says they're purposefully spending as little as possible in order to get an ok turnout in the first couple states, meanwhile all the other candidates are blowing all their money away, but then Ron Paul comes out of nowhere with his $20,000,000+ and blasts all the Super Tuesday states with ads and wins them all.

I hope that guy is for real, if that's the strategy, they better have some AWESOME attack ads ready to go after Giuliani....

Because the Ghouls strategy is the same except he has more to spend but a ton of the skeletons in the closet that will need to be exposed via Television ads to negate his xtra money to spend leading up to super Tuesday.

Nah this is a horrible strategy. You could spend a billion dollars in one state the only thing it will do is swing you 1 or 2 percentage points. This is why the big boys do it because it always comes down to a few thousand who decide who the winner is.

I'm not pulling this from my ass either. This is something that was discussed in depth on MSNBC the other day.

WRONG!!!!! in big fucking bold letters. Do you know why?

THE MESSAGE!

I think the campaign has taken a poor approach to the election from the start. The campaign sits on the sidelines. If it wasn't for the massive grassroots Paul would look more like Hunter. I think the grassroots also hurts him at time. We look bad in the media when we chase respected national reporters down the streets saying "Throw snow balls at him!".

Yeah, sure.American people choose the right presidential candidates through out the history, never voted for the one they shouldn't.
Come on, one, just one debate was enough to hear what Ron Paul stands for, how else did we get to like the guy?
For average, brainwashed, not even close enough politically educated American, Ron Paul is, and will be beyond the capabilities of their understanding. For them, he is talking some foreign language.
Combined with all what they can see on TV stations, owned by people that don't want good for middle class, and there you have it.
Anyway, that is why education sucks in this country, so it could be like this.
The real importance of Ron Paul for our country is much more than we can predict.
If we stay on course and educate our children as we should, of course.
AND STOP FEEDING TROLLS TALKING ABOUT WHERE"S THE MONEY AND STUFF!!!
IT IS NOT CAMPAIGN'S FAILURE THAT PEOPLE ARE VOTING FOR SOMEBODY WHO SAID THE TROOPS
SHOULD STAY 100 YEARS IN IRAQ!!

No what you said (in bold) right there probably has a ton to do with the campaign. They should have run about a thousand tv and radio ads contrasting Paul's views on the War with McCain's and Obama/Clinton. They should have used stuff from the McCain vs. McCain print ad and youtube video. That would have got tons of those 36% who voted for McCain who were against the war. We could have destroyed Huck and Rudy.

True, except for, I don't think anyone chasing Hannity with snow balls had any respect for him.

If you think we the grassroots, looked bad to the media for it, how did it look when the media showed Paul the video tape of it, looking for his disaproval and Paul exclaimed, " Looks like they are having fun!" ?

RP often hurts himself as much as the grassroots do. It's the rebel to the status quo in us, that the status quo doesn't like.

If we, Paul included, walk in lockstep with the status quo, becoming just like them, what is the point of all of this?

Say it all you want. There's no excuse for not outspending McCain in N.H. Ron Paul can spend all he wants now, it will be diminishing returns. Making a splash in Iowa or N.H. buys a lot of free advertising and publicity.

In Paul's case, even finishing 3rd would have gotten some serious airtime just because he is such a good story. Instead, the message is being drowned out more and more each day.

I've got an idea... we allow the North American Union to trample all over the U.S., Canada, and Mexico's sovereignty and then we instill Ron Paul as president of the whole fucking continent! Good idea.

Actually no.. I've got a better one, stop being pussies and get some balls, Ron Paul is not a fucking failure. The Ron Paul Revolution is an idea, and it's cheesy but true, like in V for Vendetta, "idea's are bulletproof" IT'S TRUE! What the hell why does no one understand that! Oh and if you are complaining about his showing in the polls... HOW MUCH MORE COULD YOU HAVE DONE? You raised money sure, that got the media kind of looking, we ALREADY know the media is going to block out Ron Paul. We have to go straight to the voters, put more signs up, make people want to know who this guy is, a lot of people still do not. We need to do more door to door. You can NOT do ENOUGH of GOTV (get out the vote) we need to do WAYY more door to door. Literally print out fliers by the thousands and hand them out. Stick them to thousands of homes! It is not IMPOSSIBLE, you can DO it! WE can DO it! Donating money to Ron Paul is not everything! I will be honest I have not donated to the campaign, but I bet you anything without a shadow of a doubt I have brought more votes for Ron Paul then other people have just donating and taking a viewers stance on the REVOLUTION! It is called a REVOLUTION not a fucking sit-on-your-ass-give-a-few-bucks-here-and-there, that won't do shit! People are more inclined to vote for someone if you are personally vouching for him. They are going to listen to a person they trust, not some bullshit 30 second sound bite which everyone automatically ignores. We have to go talk to people about Ron Paul.

Think about the power of exponents! You get just TWO people on fire to vote for Ron Paul, show them all the videos and all the speeches, anything you can think of to convince just TWO people to vote for Ron Paul. Also when telling them tell those TWO people to go and do the same thing for just TWO other people. When you repeat that process just 9 times, 1024 people would be ON FIRE to vote for Ron Paul! Now continue that number on, and on, and on. ALL you have to do it tell TWO people, and tell those to people to tell just TWO other people! And you can't just tell two people... you have to get two people ON FIRE for Ron Paul!

Power to us, power to the neo-patriot.

I have to completely agree with you and AdamKC. Even a 3rd place which was possible in both states, would have gone a long way. But now, we're getting very little media coverage, people are feeling discouraged, and Ron Paul's polling is horrible in the upcoming states.

This is my biggest worry, and I hate to admit it but I think we have no coherent strategy to improve it.

Luckily this time I'll be able to help out in Michigan on foot...maybe we'd feel less disconnected and more inspired if there was more we could do. Its not like grassroots can do everything, everywhere.

RON PAUL IS NOT LOADED...his travel expenses alone are astronomical. He has 20....yes 20 Super Tuesday states that he has to visit. He has been traveling all over the U.S. The offices cost money, the equipment in those offices cost money, the staff costs money, the ads cost money, the air time, the freaking debates even cost money. HE STARTED A FEW MONTHS AGO WITH $0.

If you think you can do it better, THEN DO IT and QUIT BITCHING ABOUT IT!

People like you are the reason Campaign HQ gets away with wasting our money. Grow a pair and start holding them accountable. I'm really sick of people telling us not to complain about HQ. We gave them $20 million to run a campaign and that is what we need them to do if he has any chance of recovering from the abysmal performance in NH.
