What the hell is the Campaign doing with all the f***ing money?

Accountability

How can we get an account of what has been spent on radio, tv, newspapers, etc.

Local radio talk show host told me today Ron Paul isn't spending any money that he is just banking most of it.

That said, Ron Paul is a great man. He is not an actor. He does not talk, he walks the walk. He is a good and decent man, soft spoken for the most part and gentle in spirit. He is Ron Paul. If you all don't like it, then you'll just have to find another man.

The town hall meeting done in response to Fox exclusion should have been done earlier, broadcast far, wide and often. The money was there. The production values could have been top notch. A bigger venue and crowd could have been found. With the money on hand there is much room for improvement.

Do you want him to start spending money like the FED? If he spends it all at once he be just a poor as the rest of the candidates.(Well... Romney can use himself for $$ so...)There is a total of 50 states not just NH. Yeah, I know winning NH could bring more votes and $$$ to encourage other voters and $$$, but he obviously knows what he's doing.
If I'm going to trust RP as president, then I'm definitely go to trust him to run his own campaign and mange it, and manage who will hire and fire too. Obviously you're free to voice you opinions and suggestions to HQ and the people here on the forum (thats what his message is about) that could help him, but I think we should put more trust in RP. I would donate even more money if I could.

Exactly, imagine if Ron Paul had a huge auditorium all decked out with a huge American Flag and Ron Paul Banners and him being the awesome orator he is and then it all being broadcast pime time across the country. Instead of....just... youtube... where, let's f***ing face it everyone's already ron paul supporter's or not.

Stop Blaming the People!
For the last time, Just because everyone on this board, and all your friends might know about Paul, the vast majority of people don't and we need to get the message out!

As for any sort of fraud.... please get real.

This is the problem, we focus our energy in the wrong places. If you spend 300,000 on ads, you're gonna get 8%. I mean we did worse here than in IA, wtf! And you think the campaign is doing an ok job!?!?

Stop talking about fraud and just accept we are running a crappy campaign up to this point. We have got to do better in NV and MI, and that means a change in strategy now. SC is going to be a long shot at this rate.

Please let this freakin negative thread die! Don't feed the trolls!

thank you.

Not a troll, dipshit. Is it now treasonous to question the actions of HQ? Seriously I sometimes get the feeling that Some of the people here are starting to fall into a very Cheney-esque mindset.

How is broke ass McCain hitting up more ads in NH than Paul? Paul need to put a big worm on the hook if wants to catch a big fish.

I demand you give me an explaination for the all tooo convenient position for Ron paul to be behind juliane.....even the bloody polls we thought were crap had him higher than the cross dresser and more than 8%....not to mention 0 votes in sutton and "other" votes....yes very convenient to say "please get real"....denial works...and yes ignorance is bliss....put the blindfold back on .....maybe a consistent less than 10 % in all states will wake you up....betch Nevada will....

We should have easily grabbed that 36% anti-war vote, but HQ didn't seem to think important enough to tell the voters that Ron Paul is anti-war.

trust me someone who is anti war feels so strongly about it that he is trying to find his candidate who advocates it.....what you are trying to say is that the anti war people didnt know of Ron so they voted for a guy who commits to go on killing for a hundred years....brilliant...okay ill "STOP BLAMING THE PEOPLE"....and say I am the idiot who wants the killing to be stopped.....

Sadly, I think you are right.

Now that's a whole bunch of BS

If you are of the very, very few that believe this I'm rather sure there is a Dem that would accept your votes :(

Come on GET WITH IT - take a deep breath and call a RP friend in the morning

You know what censorship isn't cool in any fashion!! You get pissed off when FOX excludes Paul's opinion, but you think its ok for you to call for the exclusion of mine!!!

I'm not a troll, we are losing damn it, twice now, and we should have placed third in this state. I believe in this campaign. You have to stop a runaway train you don't stay on it saying what can we do, the conductor is doing the best he can. Ridiculous, unless you are arguing that the campaign is winning, then stfu, we need strategies to win, you got any? I'm willing to listen to yours....seriously I am. What you got?

I'm also annoyed with the campaign, here in Michigan we've been awaiting supplies for weeks, and we're just now getting fragments of what we hoped for, not to mention the fact that they decided not to air ads here, mean while I see Romney ads about every hour on TV.

Any reason you are quoting totals that are three months old? Ron Paul spent around 276K in ads in N.H. McCain spent over one million. THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE OUR BEST STATE! Why?! Why would the campaign toss aside the prove upset strategy of going hard after early states, particularly one that was sympathetic and loaded with independent voters?

Go out and campaign yourself if you feel HQ is doing a poor job.

I have, as I have probably most of the people here. But we can't overcome this kind of epic incompetence. It just won't happen. Spending less than 300K on T.V. ads in spite of raising nearly 20 million in Q4 is indefensible.

Ron Paul blew it. I'm sick about it, but he did.

No ads in MI? Seriously? What are we doing, praying for support?

Where have you been for the last 3+ months?

That $19.7+ million (4th quarter) isn't gone yet and knowing how frugal the campaign is you can be assured there is money to move forward to beyond super Tuesday BUT then it is gone and that why the push for another mega-fundraising 2-3 months.

And just what sort of troll are you? Are you the Ghoulish or the Hucksterish sort? Go away little troll.

At 49 posts, I say you are the troll for dissing a very valid and credible point. Failure to look at reality will not win the election.
