This is so true, the Campaign failed us!!
is it the soapbox you stand upon or the message that's important?
Bump, I'd really love to know this... like for realsies
I agree completely with the premise of this thread. Less than $300,000 in T.V. ads in New Hampshire? Are you F*CKING KIDDING ME?!
This should have been Ron Paul's best state. Instead it's just another insignificant 5th place finish. What a pathetic attempt. I want my money back.
I now believe he is sandbagging for a 3rd party run. I am the last person to want to say it, but face up to this. Ron's purpose is to instill the power of the patriot in as many as possible.
Ron Paul has spent the last 30 years of his life devoted to the cause of liberty. He has faced the derision of his colleagues on both sides of the aisle while never wavering from what he knew to be right. He got himself reelected to Congress in 1996 when the Republican party used every trick in the book to try and beat him. His opponent in that election says that NO ONE SHOULD EVER UNDERESTIMATE RON PAUL.
He is the strongest man I have ever known in my life. Not strong enough? You need to have your head examined.
And just what sort of troll are you? Are you the Ghoulish or the Hucksterish sort? Go away little troll.
Unfortunately Ron is a fiscal conservative in any sense of the word. In his life and in his career. I wish it weren't so, but it is! But then again, someone like Huckabee and McCain barely spends money yet they are ahead...so money is not everything. It's name recognition.
In the end Paul maybe not have been the guy strong enough to carry the message. He is very reserved and has repeatedly said that he's just apart of the idea of freedom not the man leading the cause. The fact that he doesn't take the roll as leader is probably what turns people off.
The campaign didn't fail us. The American public failed us. They don't want principled leadership. They want a warmongering welfare state.
