No it wouldn't, you'd flood the market and drive down the prices to nearly zero. Do you own all these buffalo you want to hunt? How much did they cost? It's a losing proposition, economically.

If you want to make money, you'd own the buffalo. If you had a moral compass, you'd let them graze in the fields, and people would buy buffalo from you, but you wouldn't let them go extinct.. You would let them thrive so you can have more to sell later.

In fact, there are plenty of buffalo farmers now. You would have to steal their buffalo to kill them all.

I believe the term is "humane" versus "organized" or "disorganized",

it seems a lot more humane to me anyway to kill a cow instantly via blowgun than it does to hack dolphins to death with hooks and also turn it into a societal "maturity" ritual.
