Rightful Remedy PAC is pretty cool too!
Irate Minority PAC (Based on the following Samuel Adams quote: "It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds.")
I really like Rightful Remedy PAC![]()
Tea Party PAC
malkusm,
If you want this group to be successful, we need to remember the constituency we want to resonate with. We want to ride the Tea Party waves as long as possible. In the minds of the people, the connection between our group and the Tea Party needs to be one that easily made. I would suggest the name be something very Tea Party-esk as others have suggested.
How about "Tea Party State Leaders Fund", modeled after Jim Demint's successful "Senate Conservatives Fund". You could actually model the entire campaign after that campaign. The more I think about it, the more I like that idea. This could be big.
Yeah, I think that's a big key. I want it to be more than an echo chamber, to have the maximum fundraising potential possible. This also involves having the ability for our volunteers in various states to get out and have a presence in events, to cross over into "traditional" fund raising channels, rather than spamming the internet.
At the same time, we want the people here and in other libertarian online communities to know what our priorities lie. I don't envision us endorsing run-of-the-mill GOP candidates who happen to align themselves with the local "Tea Party." So, ultimately I think the point that you make is completely oriented towards how we market this, without appearing to sell out or compromise to the online communities which we will initially rely on.
Hmm.
Funk it. Let's name it Sam Adams PAC. If we get sued, we get more attention, more donations. General liability insurance is cheap.
