Maybe fewer subforums, and a section to act as the forum Want Ads?
That section would kind of need to be moderated strongly lol I can see that some folks' ads would get kind of out of hand quickly. Still, it'd be a good way to figure out if there are people with the skills or materials to help you complete a project.

It's absolutely possible. (though it's only worked with sub-atomic particles so far) I bet some RPF scientists are crazy enough to figure it out.

I was reading here somewhere that someone said that the vehicle for liberty was the GOP. While I got to chuckling at that I didn't disregard the notion as far as those who fuel that engine do as they do. Any theoretical merge between science and politics is one that must be delicately approached. It is, after all, the very engine for prosperity. The merge, that is. I've been very happy with the separation over the years.

My vote would be after Ron leaves Congress to make it liberty forest again with Ron Paul forums as the subtitle, as it was between elections. Whether he is running or not, I think he was still the inspiration. But I have no inside info on what is going to happen.

Historically, yes. Perhaps by design even. And it's obvious that such things as the 14th amendment have been hijacked and eventually utilized to keep true science a trade secret while replacing the language of science to that which is more conforming to consumers. Not visionaries. Take the iphones new patent (which was granted, btw) to shut off camera operation in places where recording isn't wanted. This merge of corporation and state that we have is really doing a number on prosperity where science is concerned. Now, I don't really consider that stuff important science but in effect it is science. And do you see what just happened there with that patent grant? Science is the means to take back your citizenship. And that is the prize. In fact it is the very platform required for a fundamental or practical merge in the minds of people (who are their own worst enemy) where discussion of such things as education, foreign policy, military spending versus defense spending, geopolitics and a whole host of other discussion must eventually merge for logical resolution.
Is just a small example.
I find it far easier to repossess a little liberty through science itself rather than conforming to the policies of those who would keep it from having it's true relevance understood by the masses. Science belongs to everyone. From "God" if you wish. Not just Apple. Again, just using them as an example. And a very small one at that.
A practical merge between science (real science) and politics will come from the people though. The real ones. The living, breathing, eating, walking and talking people. Human energy, if you want. It's the only truly free energy. Makes a great foundation moving forward if folks were ever to understand just how powerful they really are in all of this.
Anyhoo. I'm already way off topic with where he was going with it.
Could write a book about the phenomenon that will be as the youth move forward and replace the old men of the past.

Traffic ebbs between elections, but the "old timers" here will remember that posts continued when Obama was elected. People made "Watching the Inaguration" threads to razz his speech. Then came the bail outs, the Scott Brown election, discussion of "Deem And Pass", the Tea Party wave. It was all chronicled here even without RP running.
