We have all suffered an emotional blow and things are not going in our favor. It is not my intention to inflame or insult anyone... please review this e-mail with that knowledge. I hope you will allow time to consider the points rather than responding with an emotional reaction... though such a reaction is quite understandable.
We have heard, many times, about "The Ron Paul Message"... to me the primary point of that message is to restore our Constitution as the basis of American Government. That the Constitution is the supreme law of the land and our elected representatives have long since abandoned their duties and our highest law. There are certainly other issues in The Message... but this is the most critical part and all other issues flow from this part.
We have often heard Ron Paul say that he is not important... it is the message that is important. If that is true, and I believe it is, we should be focusing our efforts, emotions and monetary support on achieving that goal. We need to consider how we can best achieve the "Ron Paul Revolution" and win back our government.
Our chances of winning the Presidential election are quite slim and we appear to be losing this battle... but the war is not over. During the American Revolution we lost battle after battle. The campaigns were more of a series of brilliant retreats but certainly not outright victories. We are not doing well in this battle. But, we can learn from the first American Revolutionaries. We need to continue the fight on our own terms and not those of our foes.
I believe it is vital that we do our utmost to make certain Ron Paul is returned to Congress and that we must consider different tactics to win this Revolution to take back our government. I believe that Ron Paul should continue to run as a Republican candidate for President and we should support and fund his efforts to do so. Part of the reason for doing this is to raise awareness of the Ron Paul Message and educate the American voter. At the moment, we face a difficult battle. The MSM has stopped even mentioning Ron Paul as one of the final three Republican candidates. This makes it extremely difficult to get out the message. Because of these obstacles I agree that the official campaign needs to change tactics.
I recommend we do the following:
1. Encourage the official campaign to continue the fight by sending Ron Paul to as many events as possible.
. a. This should include supporter rallies
. b. And, as many MSM interviews as possible.
2. Additionally, the official campaign should focus on areas in which candidates, with convictions like those of Ron Paul, are running for other congressional offices.
There are 435 members of the House and 100 in the Senate. Every two years the entire house is up for election... every two years 1/3 of the senate is up for election. In a few election cycles we could achieve our goal and take back our government by electing representatives who will follow the Constitution.
3. Make sure Ron Paul wins his seat in Congress. http://www.defendthedistrict.com/
3. The MSM has and is ignoring Ron Paul and The Message. We need to create our own MSM in the form of Newspaper, Radio and Television. Some steps are already being made in this direction. Trevor Lyman is working on one such effort he will be announcing as the effort comes to fruition.

4. We need to get organized. The grassroots efforts have been remarkable but very fractured and dispersed. We need a central location for our efforts to restore our government to its Constitutional basis. Efforts are being made in this area as well. There are several afoot and I hope they can be consolidated into a single location so we have one place for the information and tools we need to win this Revolution.
5. We need to take over the Republican Party. We need to face facts and win this battle from within. We have devolved into a two party system and there is very little hope of ever achieving our goals as a third party. We should invade the Republican Party like a virus at all levels and remake it from within.
6. We should do our utmost to elect representatives to the house and senate who will obey the Constitution. We should focus our efforts in districts and states where we have a viable candidate and can win. In any states where the party elections are closed we should support viable, independent candidates who pledge to switch party affiliation once elected. They can join Dr. Paul in his Liberty Caucus to begin to "change the debate" and return our government to the rule of law.
7. We should support an Organization committed to the restoration of the Constitution and of educating American voters as to why this should be done. Such an organization would have enormous flexibility and could be very beneficial to "winning the hearts and minds" of all Americans. 8. We need to use the tactics of our opponents, where appropriate, to win over the American voter. Dress nice, be polite, become a precinct chair, go to the local GOP events, schmooze, cajole, educate... but always with the focus on the objective... to educate the voters and win back our government.
9. The Ron Paul Message also needs to be clarified and made personal... we need to explain how a Constitutional government will benefit them personally.
This battle is not yet over... if we can make headway with Ron Paul as a Republican candidate for President we need to continue the fight... and the Revolution is certainly not over. We CAN win the ultimate victory... but it may take a bit longer than this election cycle. Let's keep Ron Paul out there working for us... let's take back our government by replacing our representatives... once we have won, LET'S WATCH THEM LIKE HAWKS!!!
Remember, the original American Revolution lasted 8½ Years! Our fight has just begun... and we CAN win! It may take a bit more time... it may take a bit more effort... it CAN be done.
So, let's get focused on the task at hand and be flexible if we need to change tactics... let's support one another in our efforts to win back our government... let's coordinate our efforts as never before... let's get to work on the materials we need to win this war... let us stand together during the hard times knowing that we may not win all of the battles but that we MUST and WILL win this Revolution.
