Does the Liberty movement intentionally* cultivate an image of cruel and childish savage ignorance, or does it just come natural to the sort drawn to it?

*as in, are the people speaking so shamefully being paid by Koch-allied disinformation agencies?

Liberty means being free to say whatever you want, which means saying whatever you want about whoever you want as well as criticizing someone for saying whatever they want to say. Let's get to the actual issue, which is that the health of a US Presidential candidate is considered an important factor for determining whether or not a person is fit (pun intended) for that office. Chris Christie has an overweight problem, and to some people that's a concern when it comes to the likelihood of him potentially being the leader of the US government.

I'd like to know one thing from you: let's suppose that it's election time for 2016 US President; Chris Christie's running as the Democrat candidate, and Rand Paul's running as the Republican candidate. Who would you rather vote for?

Is there a chat-room or email list that preps you people with these cliches? My father responds exactly the same when I criticise his homophobic and racist facebook posts (he is with a Tea Party group).

As I say to him also- I don't care at all about how you feel about anything. That you are a bigoted loser filled with hostility is your problem. But, when your perspective is implicitly, or overtly, representative of a movement (in which my own future is invested), then please stop turning people off with your childish insecurity and stupidity.

In his case, he makes it so that anyone not a white evangelical christian would never have a reason to consider involvement with anything associated with conservative causes. In your cases, you are ruining any legitimacy the liberty movement might have by making it so that an overweight person interested in freedom is going to come away thinking, "well fuck those assholes anyway."
