What do we call ourselves?

When speaking with friends and family I always say "Ron Paul Republican".. When conversing with someone else in the party, I describe my philosophy as constitutional conservative.

BTW. Here in St. Charles the name of our slate at our caucus was "Constitutional Conservative"

"We the People"

No Labels, no divisions, no groups, we are the People of these United States of America.

Best answer.

This is an importent question. I would have suggested "radical republicans", because thats what we are, both radical and republicans at the same time, but that name has already been taken. Maybe "classical republicans", because we stand for the original values of republicanism.

This is an important question and I think the answer is we don't have a name. But how will we know who we are? With organization and contact lists. Why have a name? The message is about truth, freedom, the rule of law, peace, and pretty much all that is good. We can't just label it sell it like a box of Cheerios. The real "selling" of the message is person to person, by setting an example of others to follow. Naming something just creates fear and breeds division. We have the message, the mission, the strategy, the people and the money, why argue about a name?

Tyler Durden: You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake, you are the same organic decaying matter as everything else.

We aren't special, we don't need a special name. As Ron says freedom brings people together, names do not. Let everyone else name themselves and keep themselves locked inside their ideological bubbles. We should be the movement that accepts all people from all walks of life. The message doesn't belong to anarcho-capitalists, or austrians, or Republicans, or anyone else.

My two cents.

Potential Homeland Security Threats to "Change"

Renegades of Funk Republicans would be the ablsolute greatest thing to see on a ticket or in acronym ROFR when pronounced is like a fierce dog that doesn't appreciate messing with his Constitution

In Louisiana they called their slate the Ronald Reagan Unity slate.

call yourself whatever you want.... I prefer "as free as possible without getting arrested or killed". I don't see the need to align with a specific party or group. If they had a "Leave Me The F$#K Alone Party" or LMTFAP as it would be known... I'd consider joining them but they'd probably be really hard to contact lol

Liberty movement -also known as 'The Best Neighbors You Could Ever Hope For/Golden Rule' movement.

When we define liberty, it puts the burden on others to explain why they must use the gun of government to control other peoples actions and/or property.

I am in a situation now where there is a good group of RP supporters making inroads into the established GOP in our county. I am looking to organize us to create a block of influence (especially with local elections coming up) as well as communicate to get our guys out to GOP events. I don't want it to be known that we are RP supporters, only that we are republicans. During the convention we used sort of code words like "real republicans" to distinguish ourselves. What are other RP supporters calling their groups?

Ron Paul Republican sounds good to me. If people don't like that, I could care less. We are taking over now as Ron Paul supporters, why label ourselves as anything different. The Romney Republicans are the ones that should be too ashamed to admit who they really are, not us!

Thats easy, I'm not a Libertarian and neither is he, although he does have many Libertarian traits and is by far the most Libertarian person to come on the "major" scene in a long time.

?ok....to some of your responses.

RP has referred to himself as libertarian numerous times-including the times when defending himself against slander regarding the newsletter "scandal".
