What can we do to catalyze momentum for the campaign?

we did well in iowa, we did well in nh and boom the cnn poll comes out and shows we are in fact electable!!only romney and paul come within margin of defeating obama!!!! we were in GREAT spirits and feeling GREAT!!!!!!!!! then BOOM last place in south carolina then more furocious media blackout and smears, and polling in last in florida with media going all out now and pretending paul is a non event..... This campaign needs a HUGE spark now to get our blood flowing again..... my question to all of you is, what do you think will be the SPARK we need to get our blood flowing and have us feeling GREAT again that realistically can happen??? my opinion is we need some sort of contraversy, where in this debate tomorrow night, paul calls out each and everyone up there and reveals their dirty laundry that shocks both the media and everyone watching!!!

He needs to talk about their lack of cuts and do it with force. Right now he is too respectful to the moderators and taking his time and talking when spoken too. Be forceful Ron, expose them and hammer home your history of voting against spending and the Reagan support.

I agree that something needs to happen in the debate that makes headlines for Ron Paul (positive). While just simply spreading the message plants some nice seeds only bold action will provide the "spark."

tell the american people they are being brainwashed by CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News and name names. Call out wolf blitzer to his face for the crap that he puts on the air. Then go on a tirade about bringing the constitution back to this country and eliminating the establishment power hold

Well we have a pre-Super Tuesday nationwide sign wave, grassroots are working behind the scenes to prepare for major promotion of the campaign's February 14th "Bailout Freedom" moneybomb. I think we need to get some more primaries and caucuses under way and watch the despair of the American people rise a bit as they realize what unpalatable candidates Newt, Santorum and Gingrich are and then, hopefully, Ron Paul can save the day as the real alternative. :D

my take is that everyone loves contraversy, everyone pays attention to it, so tomorrow night ron has to stir up some sort of contraversy that reflects on him in a positive light and a negative light on all three of his competitors. WE NEED SOMETHING TO GET OUR BLOOD FLOWING AGAIN! i cant wait until it happens and i know something will happen to show that we are in fact alive and very well!

Not too dampen your spirits, but I am a realist. If he cannot pull out a win in the caucus states coming up, he will not have any momentum for AZ, MI or Super Tuesday. He will be an after thought at that point. I cannot fathom any foreseeable situation where Paul breaks through after this run of caucuses. We need to focus 100% on these four caucuses - it is likely our last shot.

Easy...look in the camera and ask for the the damn vote.

He needs to butt in (during newt and mittens cat fighting)and declare incredulously that "this is a joke". Look into the camera and ask the citizens "Is this what you want? I cannot do a damn thing until I get your vote."

I think we as supporters need to get our act together to be honest. Before the polls confirmed Ron was high in the polls in Iowa, it was actually beneficial to Ron to be ignored in some senses, because he built support and organization invisibly. Today I have seen some comments about how Rick S might also start campaigning outside of Florida, and I think we need to work, and not pay attention to polls, and think like we did BEFORE the Iowa straw poll and BEFORE the Iowa caucus. We are looking for our breakout, and we have to work make it happen. After some point, we are just wallowing in it when there is work to be done.

I agree, he really does need a win somewhere and those caucuses are very important. The "inevitability" line about Romney has been seriously damaged by Newt's win in SC and if we can get the media to start hyping a brokered convention more people may realize that their vote will not be for a "winner" so much as to give their candidate the most bargaining chips and that may open more folks up to RP.

Very well said SIR

Proof of voter fraud in Iowa being exposed and aired out, and proof of voter fraud in other states being proven, would be huge. Like an alarm clock going off.

LMAO!!! +rep

I have to have appreciation for that one...

Though many on this board might not recognize that object or expression as they've never seen one. :)

You plus repped him for that, did you? So did I.

I was thinking about this earlier.

I know a lot of bands have come out stating they support Paul or been seen wearing Ron Paul gear: Red Jump Suit Apparatus, 5 Finger Death Punch, Aaron Lewis of Staind. I'm sure there are others. (Sidenote: Was actually listening to Rage Against the Machine today, reminded me a lot of what we stand for)

It'd be great to see the campaign or just the fans contact some of the bands to see if a fund raising show or festival could be organized to help spread the word.

This!!

Maybe planning sign waves in New Jersey is not the best use of time right now. Or organizing a Twitter bomb of PPP because you don't like their poll comments. Focus people, focus.

I said elsewhere that some of us have been at this for 20+ years. We have been waiting for this opportunity and it pains us to see so many well intentioned people with so little focus on what needs to be done right now. We need to win and we need to win in the caucus states. Anything beyond that we can work on later, because honestly if we don't pull out a win soon, it doesn't matter who loves Ron Paul in New Jersey.

Our best shot was Iowa. From there the momentum was supposed to push forward.

As long as there are morons who do whatever their idiot boxes tell them to do, there will always be a media to steal from the freedom movement.

We just gotta keep doing the best we can and build our base. I don't think 2012 is in the cards but if we keep pushing, we'll be that much stronger when Rand takes the helm.
