What brand jeans do you wear?

Whatever is cheap and on sale. Mostly wearing skinny jeans and boots now. Jeans don't friggin' fit me right.

Nothing but Levis for a few years now. Mostly loose fitting because I have a luxurious ass.

Being a college student, I'm on a tight budget. I typically buy off Poshmark, eBay or hit the clearance racks. I have jeans from so many brands, but my favorites are: YMI, Max Studio, and Abercrombie & Fitch. I see so many people like Levi's, but I hate them because they're cut so awkwardly.

You make fun, but some people (men AND women) are just cursed to have naturally high hips, like yours truly.

I wear my pants like they did in 1940's film noir. Check out Fred MacMurray in "Double Indemnity"....that's me all the way.

...but he's totally rockin' the high-waisted pants b/c they're pleated dress pants and he has a blazer... and he's a total hottie. :D The typical 'mom' or 'dad' jeans are gross for numerous reasons. The five things that makes them a no go are 1) Excessive high rise 2) Really bad washed-out bright blue color 3) saggy butt region and 4) A disproportional fit throughout the hip and leg, and (sometimes) 5) WAY TOO SHORT inseam. Yes, I am a 'Fashion Expert' according to my RPF profile. :p

Depends on body type too though. Muffin tops do not look good in tight, lowrise jeans. Nothing is as bad as the 80s jeans though....baggy, high water, with pleats at the waist. No one looked good in those.

Right. I think the only pants worse than those are harem pants. Haha!

I found a pair of 7 jeans at a yard sale...super worn out but best fitting jeans I ever had...unfortunately the knees finally ripped completely out.

Did you try looking up the same size, cut, and brand on eBay?

Pretty much this. I wear them at work, so mostly I'm looking for not involuntarily exposing anything, for them to be long enough that they sit right on my legs, and pockets. That's about the extent of my pickiness. The other thing we can wear to work is scrubs, but for some reason I can't find attractive scrub bottoms.

I can't bring myself to be brand-loyal because brand quality seems to change over time as others have pointed out. I just grab a few pairs that look the right length, pick a winner, and buy those :p

Did you try Ecko or Med Couture? http://www.allheart.com/womens-scrub-pants/c/1337/filter/100000001112eq100000001163or100000001200/ I know a couple people that buy either of these because they have a better fit than the baggy unisex scrubs.

Yeah, this is why I asked fr where he ordered from. Going by that old thread we had about height I think he was the only one in my range. My problem is that when I find jeans that fit my waist then my rear end and thighs won't fit into them. So in order to fit those I have to get a big waist size which is too big. And then length is usually hit or miss in the mix. Winter is coming up so I'd like to actually have a few pairs of jeans that fit.

I looked at some of the places you mentioned so thanks for sharing.

For the longest time I wore Levi's. About 6 months ago I went clothes shopping for the first time in 6 years or so (my Levis lasted that long). I bought 3 pairs of Wranglers as they were cheap, after realizing Levis cost three times what I last paid for them. One pair started falling apart at the seams very quickly. Another soon after. The third pair is still doing good, but I'm dissapointed overall. I've looked at Duluth brand but damn they are expensive.

I don't own a pair of jeans. I probably should. There are functions where if you don't wear jeans you are an outsider. So I probably need a pair of infiltrator jeans.

I have a friend who swears by Lucky brand jeans, pretty expensive tho.

They all say this on the inside of the zipper:

I don't like button-flies. I've never had a pair that worked in a hurry.

You could probably get alterations done so they fit you. My son always has to get the legs taken in on his but fortunately one of his friends is a seamstress. Being the mom of a tall one, I know it is a royal PITA to find clothes and even worse if you are thin. Try finding a Medium Xtra Long shirt.

pretty sure lucky went under a couple years ago. I think they restructured but for the most part their prices have went way down.
