aw man....
We taped the final episode of Fargo and apparently the last five minutes were lost or something...
Does anyone know what happened after the trooper stopped and phoned home while Peggy waited in the car?
The Indian, Michael and his goon, etc.?
And what happened with Peggy?
From the Arthur C. Clarke novel:

It's OK; I really don't like the lead actor in this, because all he does is remind me how horrible a show Under the Dome was, and his role here is similar.
The Expanse, after 1 episode in, LEGIT.

Some of the sets look like they came from Dark Matter (another good show, but for different reasons), but it looks closer to a movie than what you would expect from a SyFy show. Haven't read the books, and I wasn't sure about the story working until the last couple scenes. I've seen the first couple eps of Defiance, this story appears smaller in scope- so far, humans only, within the solar system.
We watched Prometheus again....All I know is TV is awful during thise midseason hiatus. We watched Diehard 1 & 2 on bluray.
Reminds me of Battlestar Galactica, SE and the sets...The Expanse, after 1 episode in, LEGIT.

I like it a lot. It's not a fast-paced show, though, so you'll be disappointed if that's your thing. It's definitely not a barn-burner - or if it is, it has a very slow fuse ...
And given that it's a character-driven drama, if you're not caught up on it, I'm not sure how much sense you'll be able to make out of it if you jump in "in the middle" (especially since this will be the season finale, and understanding a lot of the things being set up for next season will depend on understanding things that have already happened). But who knows? Maybe you will. Or maybe you'll find it interesting enough to go back and watch the rest.
I love Rectify. Our internet husband got me hooked on it, btw. I think season one is on Netflix.
We love this show [Rectify]! Watched the first two eps last night.
Will Daniel Holden ever fit back into his hometown after spending 19 years on death row?
It seems TV viewers may never find out.
SundanceTV announced on Friday that it is cancelling Rectify, its first original series, after four seasons, according to Variety.

But don't expect a big finale wrapping up all the loose ends.
'There is no perfect "end" for this story nor for these characters,' series creator and director Ray McKinnon said on Friday.
'They will continue to live on. We just won’t document them any longer. And the timing of this "non-end" end feels exactly right.'
He added that Rectify 'is in many ways an existential story that was allowed to come to life during an existential era in serial storytelling. It was a case of perfect timing with the perfect partners.'
Ray continued: 'I am so grateful to have been allowed the freedom to tell the tale I wanted to tell in the way I felt it should be told with the mad and beautiful collaborators who joined me on the ride... Oh wait, we haven't shot the final season yet. I'll get back to you.'
Although the drama was never a ratings hit, according to Variety, it was a critics' darling and won a Peabody Award in 2015.
It is currently nominated for three Critics Choice Television Awards, including one for best drama series.
The final season of Rectify will begin shooting in April and premiere this fall.
