When you were born dead, it simplifies your choices. Humans only offered me horrific, gory pain and hateful death in growing up. Even those who tried to understand could offer me no real hope. Their hands were tied.

And yes, I once wore all black, with a leather motorcycle jacket.
 
Leave the Imaginary Fire behind, and make it real externally. But it all begins within, as an idea: a true idea, founded upon physical reality. Humans are quite apt at imagining horrid falsehoods which they impose upon others, but to imagine the actual glory of physical reality appears to be the hardest conceptualization of all.

It is our destiny, if we choose so, to each be the Prometheus over our own minds and therefore lives, painful as that journey might seem at first.
