I care not so much where one comes from, as to where they're going. One's life experiences, whether for good or ill, then provide a knowledge-basis which can make one stronger: more potent. It's the demons who do not forgive, and if one remains in a state of omphaloskepsis--or worse--then it's your demons doing that to you, holding your errors over you, not letting you advance. That's a choice we each have to make, at every moment of our choosing.

Though for those who desire clarity, the choices do get easier, as time advances, as knowledge is gained.

Thank you to those who are providing Art. I see what you are doing, not just recently, either. Just as a nuance, regarding Deep Purple's song "Lazy", I'd say it's what you make of your so-called "time off". You see, the socialists want the Existential Candy, meanwhile they have not put in the time and effort to figure out the existential Brutalist Architecture which makes that even possible. Because they dislike knowing the existential basis by which that Candy could have ever been provided to begin with, they can only produce horrors. Whereas the actual liberals have understood, to some extent. (Called libertarians/Rothbardians, these days.) Where they all go wrong is leaving the Science of God off: for without God, and the Scientific Knowledge of God, we are nothing, and our liberty-minded efforts are in vain. We're all dead in the end, then.

My Brutalist Architecture might seem grim, but there is much underlying it. Brutalist Architecture done cheaply is indeed a grim proposition. But done grandly, at much expense, it provides all the Safe Spaces and Hidy-Holes we could ever imagine.

Mother dearest doesn't much like music. Strange, I know. There are people like that, evidently. Though among what little music she does like, Elton John is her favorite. Go figure.

Perhaps even stranger, she sometimes even liked the very strange music that I would play to her, whether it be good ol' Ludwig van's 9th by the Zagreb Philharmonic recorded in September 1988, or Skinny Puppy. Mayhap she mostly likes music by proxy.
