Well, I live in MA and we call them Mainers (Mainahs if you have a Boston Accent).

But other than that we're all New Englanders.

I love the kittens in the oven joke; I've heard it before. I was born in New York but moved to NH when I was 1. Lived in NH until 2003, when we moved to Maine. A friend of mine in High School, who is from Maine, said to me upon learning that I was born in NY, and with a straight face "Oh. I thought you were from heah.(New England)"

My obit in any Maine paper will say "Woman from NY dies."
