Probably not many of the current "top tier" will drop out before the first primaries. By top tier I mean the candidates that were included in the last debate. Of those I can only see maybe Kasich and Fiorina dropping out.
I'd wager that Rand will drop out after the first primaries if he doesn't gain traction. Many will drop at that time. If any underdog candidates going to stay in for the long haul it would probably be Cruz, because he obviously doesn't care about pissing off the party leaders.
