I'm very sad right now that my political hero, the doctor who cured my most severe case of apathy, will never be sitting in the oval office. However, there are many things that I'm proud of this election, even if we ultimately lost the battle. We've gained so much support, have so many fierce fighters, and have proven that the establishment takes us more seriously than they pretend. The Revolution is alive and well, and I look forward to watching how all of this plays out. The only fear I have is that, should the country disintegrate too quickly, we may not have time to wait and infiltrate the GOP as planned, and I think it's wasted effort to try and give any third party legitimacy in this corrupt, two-party system. But, we still have a lot to be proud of, and much fight in us left.
We've definitely increased our support from last time. We nearly took Iowa, and we probably would have were it not for the fake Santorum surge that became reality as the masses bought into it. I'm actually not surprised they did that, given that they promised to remove Iowa's first-in-the-nation status if Ron Paul won. However, despite this setback, our movement grew, people's eyes were opened, and we are now a lot better off than we were in 2008. We don't have enough numbers yet, but we're growing.
I'm also proud of all the fighters we have in this movement. People who challenged the RNC, called them out on their bull, and raised their voices in protest. There's a lot of sheep who still don't get it ("USA! USA!"), but there's less of them than there were. Instead of shrugging our shoulders and accepting the inevitable, we refused to accept the illusion that we actually had a choice and refused to unite for the sole sake of unity. Unity under tyranny will get us nowhere good, fast.
And, what makes me the most proud, we have shown that we cannot be ignored. The MSM, the politicians, and other corrupt members of the GOP all said that we were a fringe minority. However, they had to create more elaborate schemes to get keep us from inflicting change this year, and despite that, we still managed to get a few things accomplished. We've gone from being ignored to being actively fought against. Now, we just have to win, and with the right leader at the helm, this isn't impossible for us any longer.
Infiltrating the GOP is hard, onerous, and often discouraging, but I think our efforts will pay off. Just as the neocons managed to overtake the party once before, we will win it back. Moreover, we will do it fairly, and by doing so we will expose the cheaters like Mitt Romney and his ilk. True colors were shown yesterday.
So, I'm going to continue the fight. I personally was able to open so many eyes this election, using both morality and facts, emotion and logic, depending on the person. That's the amazing thing about liberty. It makes sense to the rational mind when it truly reflects on it, and it offers hope and peace to a heart that's been anxious with the tyranny pouring out of Washington lately. I'm going to keep doing what I do. I live in a small village in the northern part of Minnesota, and the number of people I can personal influence is small in comparison to the opportunity some of you have, but Santorum proved in my state that taking time to visit the little places adds up, and I intend to do my part to add up support for liberty at all levels of government.
I hope you all will join me.
