Well, thats that...

Laugh all you want, but lets insert a little realism and levity here. I worked as hard as anyone for Dr. Paul. (I suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my face working the Iowa Straw Poll). With that said, the failure to understand and operate effectively within the existing political environment has gained us little traction and a lot of negative attention.

These news reports on the eve of the N.H. primaries were no accident. The MSM had plenty of chances over the last few months where they could have reported this kind of action, but they didn't, and we just kept giving them ammunition. The Hannity and Clinton examples so ill timed and embarrassing...

Like I said, the movement isn't over, but Dr. Paul's candidacy is. I appreciate the philosophical manner in which they tried to conduct the campaign, but unfortunately, it didn't work. We need to learn from our mistakes and come back stronger.

I hear you man. they held this stuff to dump it right on the eve of the biggest day in the campaign for us.

And we're hurt badly by the fact that knuckleheads choose to "protest" at every opporutunity, no matter how inappropriate. And these conspiracy theorist weirdos smear the rest of us with guilt by association.

This isn't the end of the movement, but Ron Paul's candidacy just ended on the eve of the N.H. caucuses.

All the work, all the talk ended with the Hannity video, the Tucker smear, and the Clinton report. The ineptitude of the National Campaign, 9/11 truthers, the big media, and many Ron Paul supporters themselves are responsible for tearing down the most integral candidate on either side of the aisle.

Get involved, and stay involved for freedom, this was only the first skirmish. Let's be smarter and wiser next time.

Good night, and good luck.

See you later and quit posting this crap.

I think you need to look up the above bolded word at dictionary.com

lev·i·ty /ˈlɛvɪti/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[lev-i-tee] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun, plural -ties. 1. lightness of mind, character, or behavior; lack of appropriate seriousness or earnestness.
2. an instance or exhibition of this.
3. fickleness.
4. lightness in weight.

If you feel that way, please stop posting or stop posting negativity.

We're going to continue to fight because it is a fight worth fighting.

It isn't about negativity, and I'm still gonna caucus here and pound the pavement for Dr. Paul.

I'm also NOT freaking out, as some are insinuating here. It just is what it is. I'm all for holding out hope, and I hope Dr. Paul takes third tomorrow in N.H., but I'm also not going to sit here and be unrealistic about the situation either.

The good news is that a movement has started, and when we are worse off 8 years from now, there will be more people willing to listen to the message, and we'll welcome them WITHOUT an "I told you so".

You're right, but I wasn't just responding to the other post, trying to respond to a litany of others that say I'm freaking out...

I hate posts like this.

Stop sobbing and lift your limp ass up and stand tall!!! We're still in the Ring and and got them on their toes, throwing low blows!!!

Jeremie, ALL of the candidates are getting attacked. Watch the news.... listen to talk radio...ALL of them are getting hammered by someone.

Don't give up so easily. Be strong. Be brave. Ron Paul would want it.

This is very true. Rush Limbaugh has been repeatedly bashing Huckabee and McCain for not being real conservatives, Fred Thompson has essentially said he really isn't in this to win, Romney is getting attacked personally by McCain and Huckabee, and of course Guiliani has more dirty laundry than the rest of them put together. I don't think a few isolated incidents involving rude supporters or a 20 year old allegation that has already been disproved is in the same league. Of course the media will report negative stuff, that's what they do best.

wow, who is this guy?

please don't post if you have nothing interesting to add.
thanks.

You knew that the newsletters existed, did you not expect them to appear? I'm sure Dr. Paul has been waiting for them to hit since day one, just like they ALWAYS do.

I hear you man. they held this stuff to dump it right on the eve of the biggest day in the campaign for us.

They do this to _every_ candidate. It was done to Bush in 2000. Remember the drunk driving charge right before the election?

Don't give up on Dr. Paul because of bad media reporting. That is what they _WANT_ you to do. They want people in NH to come here and see people giving up. They want people in NH to see that video of Hannity getting hit with a snowball and have people say they won't vote for Ron Paul because of it.

To the OP, you can't just give up over dirty tricks. No candidate you support will _ever_ win if you do. Get the word out to NH residence about WHY we're so mad at Hannity, and that Ron Paul has nothing to do with the 9/11 truth BS.

yeah really, suck it up. RP's campaign does not end until we stop supporting him.

Politics is rough and tumble. I would like more offensive hi-jinks against the ill tempered militarists like McCain and Huckster. Something funny not crude like th FUs thrown at Hannity.eek

Hopefully (especially if we don't get any delegates tomorrow), it won't be too late to learn (and change official campaign staff).

I agree Deb, but these releases were calculated. Like I said, I'm still going to pound the pavement and caucus for him.
